My only hang-up is that they cant be older than 30 years old no matter what species.

It's almost like yours, though I don know much about yours. The oldest are over 18, and they aren't all the same species. It's spread out between several of our senior citizen members.

Well I have a main storyline I'm gonna work with. The ones that aren't vampires are definitely not Engels by blood. There is only one actual leader he is a Vampiric Angel. Then there are his first his blood relatives the vampires. The he has his adopted siblings and the people they may be related to. I have it as a chart of stick notes on my laptop

Ah, the Heudo Mondos are different species of creatures that band together and sort of make a family. There two heads and they stand as the "Mother" and "Father." I started it with Tarlar :)
