RandomAnthony | 14536 comments I need to talk about a beautiful celebrity, so goddamn it, we're resurrecting the "hot celebrity" conversations. I know you want to! Don't deny it!

Anyway, I may have mentioned Robin Meade on CNN in the morning. Damn, she's dreamy. I watch her first hour while working out. Anyway, this morning she said she was having a problem with her back, and she looked directly into the camera and said, "Will you rub my back while I do the news?"

Ahem. First, I nearly crashed off the elliptical. Second, I almost woke my wife and told her I would be in Atlanta for the foreseeable future aiding, um, citizens in need. However, the goddamn asshole sports reporter ran over and rubbed Robin's back while she continued with the news. I hate him.

And...you? Which celebrities are most deserving of, ahem, help of this nature according to you?

It 's Holly Marie Combs

message 3: by Sarah (last edited Dec 17, 2008 02:07PM) (new)

Sarah (songgirl7) My "list" is currently as follows:

1. Harry Connick, Jr., who hasn't moved from the top spot in 18 years
2. Rob Pattinson, who's just the kind of young boy toy a girl in her thirties needs every once in a while, and is not only cute but also musically gifted and just the right amount of dorky
3. Tom Welling, who's dumb as a stump and can't act his way out of a paper bag but sure is pretty
4. James Marsden, who's just so darned charming, plus, he sings
5. Zachary Levi, who's apparently buddies with my old friend John, which means he's just as goofy as he appears on TV, but also makes it kind of creepy to crush on him

RandomAnthony | 14536 comments Top five top five top five!

I agree that a top five needs updating every now and then.

1. Robin Meade
2. Blake Lively (see Sarah's #2, but change genders)
3. Kate Winslet...she's going up the charts lately.

I'm saving the last two for further reflection.

Can anyone see Jim's picture, by the way? I can't.

Meen (meendee) | 1733 comments Well, for men, Daniel Craig recently bumped the Verizon guy off his throne...

For the ladies, hmmm, that's tougher. I mostly lust over real women, not celebrities. I don't know why.

message 6: by [deleted user] (new)

Rivers Cuomo

Jonathan Safran Foer
[image error]

Woody Harrelson. I think he's kind of full of himself, but I still love him from his "Cheers" days, and I have a thing for gap teeth.

Sally (mrsnolte) | 17338 comments Mod
Mmmmmm-hmmmm. Woody Harelson. Yes, please.

My list:

1. Ewan McGregor
2. Jason Statham
3. Christian Slater
4. Jack Nicholson
5. Christopher Walken

and sometimes

Samuel Jackson
Ryan Gosling
Andy Samberg

of course

Tom Cruise

and for the ladies (can't omit the ladies)
Kate Bosworth
Charlize Theron
Amy Adams
Scarlett Johansson (that spelling is weirdo)

oh, and I almost forgot: Paul Newman

Jackie "the Librarian" | 8993 comments I admire your loyalty to Tom Cruise, Sally. I just don't understand it!

I guess I have a weakness for the Brits:
1) Colin Firth
2) Anthony Stewart Head
3) Hugh Grant
4) Jeremy Northam
5) all those Bonds, James Bonds

Jackie "the Librarian" | 8993 comments Tom's hair looks messy and greasy, Sally. But if you like him, that's fine with me.

Jackie "the Librarian" | 8993 comments Lestat, huh... I'll give you that. He was right for that part. But that doesn't make him hot on the Jackie scale!

Sally (mrsnolte) | 17338 comments Mod
Oh, yeah, mmmm-hmmm, messy and greasy. Yes, please.

Jackie "the Librarian" | 8993 comments You sound like you're talking about a plate of french fries, Sally!

message 15: by Amanda (new)

Amanda (randymandy) You should add Johnny Depp on your list, Salz.

message 16: by Jessica (last edited Dec 19, 2008 06:07AM) (new)

Jessica (jesstrea) Daniel Craig
Johnny Depp
Gary Oldman
mmm...I'll get back to you w/ the next 2.
(who's the Scottish actor who played in "Last King of Scotland'?)

Kate Winslet
Scarlett Johanssen
Juliette Binoche
Isabelle Huppert

message 17: by RandomAnthony (new)

RandomAnthony | 14536 comments Did I mention Tina Fey? Yeha, yes, Tina Fey...

message 18: by Jessica (new)

Jessica (jesstrea) yeah I could add Fey to my list as well...

shellyindallas Oh gawd. So many of you are wrong on so many counts. Let's see...where to start?

Then there's

Can't forget:

And lastly (for now):

message 20: by Jessica (new)

Jessica (jesstrea) Javier Bardem, yes!!
Benicio del Toro too!

(I don't recognize the last 3?)

shellyindallas Yes, Chairy! I love Benicio, too. The last three are Guy Pearce (Memento, LA Confidential), Christian Bale (Batman), and James Franco ( Spiderman, Pineapple Express).

message 23: by [deleted user] (new)

Wow. I'm a freak, I guess, because with only a few exceptions (Scarlett Johansson, James Franco), I don't think any of the people mentioned above -- male or female -- are inordinately attractive.

Juliette Binoche?? Tina Fey?? Christian Slater?? Benicio Del Toro??

message 24: by Amanda (new)

Amanda (randymandy) Shelly!!!!!!!! Pic #1--THANK YOU!!!

message 25: by Kirk (new)

Kirk | 154 comments No surprise here. I would have to vote for:

As well as

Hell, I'd even go for

shellyindallas Wow. You're all over the map, Kirk.

message 27: by Jessica (new)

Jessica (jesstrea) Comrade:
Benicio is beautiful.
Binoche has gotten less attractive (& skinnier) as she ages. I liked her in Red, White & Blue (or was she only in the latter 2?).

message 28: by Sally, la reina (new)

Sally (mrsnolte) | 17338 comments Mod
I forgot to add Bruce Willis to mine. Benecio del Toro is a good one, I'll stick him on there.

message 29: by RandomAnthony (new)

RandomAnthony | 14536 comments Do you play this at home, Sally?

message 30: by Sally, la reina (new)

Sally (mrsnolte) | 17338 comments Mod
I never have before, RA, but thanks!

message 31: by [deleted user] (new)

Kirk, who's your lady?

Benicio scares me. And not in a good way.

What about Woody, David?

message 32: by Sally, la reina (new)

Sally (mrsnolte) | 17338 comments Mod
Kirk's second one looks like something from Barely Legal magazine.

message 33: by Kirk (new)

Kirk | 154 comments Liz Phair! Who else but....?

Sally, she was probably 40 when that pic was taken. I'm sure she'd be flattered if I told her that. Alas, she doesn't answer any of my daily emails and phone calls.

message 35: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (songgirl7) Shelly, your first picture looks more like Javier Bardem than Benicio. I'm with you on Christian Bale, though.

What can I say about my choices? I'm a sucker for dark hair and blue eyes (all of mine have that combo except the last one, who has brown eyes, but it just adorably dorky). And if they have dark hair and blue eyes and can sing, so much the better.

message 36: by Jessica (new)

Jessica (jesstrea) her first pic IS Bardem...

message 37: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (songgirl7) Oh okay, I guess I was reading her next post wrong.

message 38: by Jessica (new)

Jessica (jesstrea) while we're on the subject (latin men), let me add:
Gael Garcia Bernal
Diego Luna

Normal mother/son interaction, or a little too smoochy and hands-on?

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) The boob grab is a little awkward.

LG, who is this smoochy couple??

message 42: by Lori (last edited Jan 08, 2011 09:43AM) (new)

Lori She's a model/actress. Here are some more photos, and in the last one you can see her son has a boner from their embraces. EEEEEEEEEEW

message 43: by Cynthia (new)

Cynthia Paschen | 7132 comments Ugh, Lori. Umm, Thanks for sharing.

message 44: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Yikes.

message 45: by Lori (new)

Stephanie Seymour and her son.

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) I really hate her son's shorts.

Lobstergirl | 24292 comments Mod
Really? They seem like some of the better swim trunks I've seen out there.

message 49: by Stacia (the 2010 club) (last edited Jan 08, 2011 03:10PM) (new)

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) I like board shorts better on men. Those look too girly for my taste, even down to the white piping detail.

message 50: by Jonathan (new)

Jonathan Lopez | 4728 comments Hmmm. I'll have to keep that in mind. I think my swim trunks actually look pretty similar, although without the white trim.
