I can't make up my mind between 1995 and 2005 ... This might help - well may be a bit biased. ;)

And I thought there needed to be somewhere for the fans of MacFayden to say so :)

I love the 2005's costumes, character depth, soundtrack however 1995's Wickam has much more depth and you really do pity Darcy much more.

I prefer the 2005 edition - the cinematography is beautiful, the soundtrack is amazing and I must say I prefer MacFayden and Knightley as Darcy and Lizzie.
That doesn't mean I hate BBC's version - I like that it has more of the book in it.
But MacFayden is my favorite Darcy (so far) :)

As glad that some people think there is character depth as I know some don't but I think there are! And in the 1995 Wickham appears more and is more hate able and because you see vid of their backstory you do pity Darcy more!!!

Love the houses!!!! Iive near and visit often the house which was Netherfiled) and the scenery etc is lovely as you said!!!
It was my first Austen I ever saw or watched so always special to me but I don't think I will ever pick!!!!!
