Membership to the PRAH has doubled in less than a hour, making the PRAH one of the fastest growing groups in the last hour. Kudos to all those who have helped to make this happen!!!

PRAH membership continues to surprise analysts; moderators:

In less than an hour, the membership of the breakout Goodreads group: PRAH, grew by more than 150 percent. Experts aren't sure what's driving the uncanny growth of the PRAH but some have theorized that the promotional campaign launched recently by group moderator Micah Issitt has played a role. "I just clicked buttons," Issitt said when asked about his promotional regime.

Good to have you all aboard.

In less than 48 hours, group membership at PRAH increased seven-fold to become the fastest growing group under the Micah Issitt Promotions, Inc. banner. When Micah Issitt Promotions (MIP) began in November of 2007, we interviewed CEO and Founder Micah Issitt about his company, the future, and the art of creating groups.

PRAH: So, Mr. Issitt, why did you decide to start MIP.

MI: I saw a void that needed to be filled. My mother always told me that people needed to feel a sense of belonging and stuff and I felt like I could provide that sense of things.

PRAH: How many groups have you started?

MI: Right now there are three groups. One of them is sort of exclusive while the other two are more open and have been gaining in popularity.

PRAH: What's next?

MI: I'm planning on building robots with monkey heads. I think that will be a popular Christmas item in the near future. It might require that I learn something about robotics and surgery. If you asked me a year ago if I would start a company that would be managing three groups on the Internet, I would have said "what's the Internet?" Now, I can see that nothing is beyond accomplishment if you just believe.

Stephen | 27 comments MICAH says, "...I can see that nothing is beyond accomplishment if you just believe..."

WHAT he doesn't tell you is that R. Kelly believed that he could fly, then he PISSED all over people.

SO REALLY, what is MICAH actually up to?

Actually Stephen, Micah DOES believe he can fly. He has also been quoted as saying:

"I think about it every night and day. Spread my wings and fly away."

Observers have noted that his flying prowess is limited to short bursts of "flight" that last for 1/60th of a minute or less and reach a hight of no more than three feet.

Aimee Last night I prayed to God asking if he would please send me a cure for cancer.

Lo' and behold I sign onto goodreads today and find this group. This is like, the same thing, except I wont make as much money as I would with the cure for cancer.

Erin (erin_c) | 2 comments I was invited to join this group because of my many accomplishments and because of my sense of irony in the most appropriate situations.

Thank you for the invitation.

message 9: by Stephen (new)

Stephen | 27 comments Speaking on the behalf of Micah, I would like to welcome our new members. Also, while I'm speak-typing for him, I'd like to send a "big-ups" to myself, for inviting Erin, and then another out to God, for putting off cancer cures in order to further this group's expansion.

Thank you Steven for sending out some appropriate "Big ups" in my name. I have long been absent from the moderation game as I have been away completing a training course on advanced moderation.

Thank you everyone for joining the Royal Academy of Humore, which is clearly the best group on goodreads. I'd like to thank the academy, for proving that dreams can fly. I'd also like to thank my agent, Steve, for believing in me. When people said I couldn't do it, Steve just said, "You might could do it," in his Vegas, hillbilly twang and that gave me the strength to push ahead.

Heres to hoping that our membership continues to rise and that somehow I can find a way to use you people to make money.

one love,

Micah Issitt

Stephen | 27 comments Micah, I'm glad that you're still might could possibly continue to be doing it at my behest. Without your intermediate moderation skills we'd all've (pronounced 'olive') been searching this here site for groups that would've been of a much lesser quality.

I'm excited that you're back with advanced moderation techniques and I can't wait 'til we make some cash off this free site so that I can get my ten percent.

Peace,

Erin (erin_c) | 2 comments Dear Micah and Steve also possibly,
Moderation skills are hard to come by these days. There are much too many fakes that walk around pretending that they might could possibly moderate on a level that we speak of in this fantastic forum.

Micah you are a diamond in the rough.

(You too also possibly Steve)

message 13: by Aimee (new)

Aimee Dear you guys,

I don't know any of you at all, but God still owes me one (you know, for that one time?) so I maybe will hit him up for that cure for cancer still. Then I might could possibly make a load of money and dump it all into this free site and even freer group, giving Micah his just rewards (and 10% for you too also possibly Steve).

But then again, maybe I'll just spend it all on booze and hookers. I think God might like that.

Yours,
Aimee

message 14: by Stephen (new)

Stephen | 27 comments That sounds great Aimee, and just so you know, I'll take my 10% in hookers and booze...so maybe it'll (pronounced 'it-ill') work out that I still get my cut. I'll be following the crawl on the bottom of CNN for the pronouncement that "cancer has been cured by Aimee from Goodreads" and then we can go out and party.

Can't wait...

Esteban LeDonGaulRicklesto

P.S. As far as my diamond status, I'm actually more like a 'diamond in the grill piece of Lil Jon' which is undoubtedly worse than the typical rough

message 15: by Julie (new)

Julie | 3 comments I have just joined this group, and although I hadn't prayed for it, I have begun to feel a sense of belonging and stuff.

At first it just felt like indigestion, but now I'm pretty sure it's a sense of stuff.

I am especially looking forward to the future possibility of monkey-headed robots. Have you given any thought to adding some kind of tails?(not limited to primates)

message 16: by Liza (new)

Liza (findliza) | 1 comments I too, have successfully joined this group. In my humble opinion, our trusty moderator needs to re-enter the society, and provide some good comedy.

Julie | 3 comments Hear hear!

The people demand humorous quips!

If we do not have continual amusement, we may be forced to do unspeakable things.
