Cover?

I haven't finished this book yet, so please no spoilers. Anyway my question, so the two people on the cover, are they supposed to be Rose and Adrian? And since I'm already asking about covers, what about the cover of "Frosbite". I think they are supposed to be Christian and Lisa, but I've been told otherwise, so I don't know what to think.

I originally thought that it was Rose and Dimitri but I think it is Adrian and Rose because Dimitri has longer hair. So, I'd go with Rose and Adrian (even though I don't really think that the cover model looks like Rose). As for Frostbite, it's Rose and some guy with red eyes. If you go on Richelle Mead's website and go to FAQ, it gives you a list of all the books and who's on the covers.

i always asumed it was rose and dimitri but that never seemed right to me cuz they do not look like the characters

supposedly its rose on the cover. but its way different then how she is described. :/ makes you think the cover designer didnt even bother reading or looking into the book huh? >_>

I have been wondering this myself for years! The covers do not match any of the characters! LOL I went to Richelle Mead's website and this is what she said


Who's on the covers of the Vampire Academy books?
Covers are designed by a book company's art department and are something I have little say about. Since everyone has different ideas about how characters look, the art department's ideas may not quite match the books' descriptions or your ideas. Or, the art department may not have even read the book.

Vampire Academy - Rose
Frostbite - The girl is Rose, and the guy is a mystery even to me. Without the red eyes, he'd be Christian. He's too young to be Isaiah.
Shadow Kiss - Lissa and Dimitri are on the old version; Rose is supposed to be on the new one.
Blood Promise - Rose
Spirit Bound - Rose and ???
Last Sacrifice - Rose

So basically she doesn't even know!! and the art department just did whatever LMAO

I sort of assumed it is supposed to be Rose and Adrian on the cover of Spirit Bound since it is their book and they are together in this one. I'd like to write a letter of outrage to her art department! She deserves better! Her adult series covers are also all hideous which is sad because she is a fantastic writer.

I think its Rose and Adrian because of SPOILER SORTA!!!what they did at the end of the book, it looks like that on the cover

I think it's Rose and Adrian. The guy looks more like Adrian than Dimitri.

I thought it was Sonya and Michael. I think that's his name. It's not Rose, because Rose was on the first book. Might be Lissa, but I don't know.

I always thought it was Rose and Adrian on "Spirit Bound". I might be wrong but who knows? :) And for "Frostbite"? I always thought it was Rose and that Strigoi vampire that held Rose and her friends hostage. His name was what, Izaya? I don't know how to spell his name but I think it's pronounced, (I. Zay.a)?

Looks more like Dimitri because the model looks similar to the Dimitri model on the old version of Shadow Kiss .

It's Isaiah but Richelle said the model looked too young to be him. I still think that's Lissa and Christian on Frostbite.

i think that all book covers should be a nice but the main point of a book is to find it interesting and fall in love with it. people always ask me why i read books that aren't interesting based on the cover i always wonder if people are ever tough not to judge a book by its cover.i find the book cover of spirit bound interesting because it makes you think who might be the character? and why did the person who created the cover use those to characters?
