The Giver question

My community would be kind of controling. You would have to be responsible for your every action. As well respectful to everyone and everything. People would get punished for their mistakes, but not in a painful way. My community would look like those paradise pages from magazines. Very relaxing and calm. it would be very organized. The families would be the same in a way, like the amount of children they could have. There would only be allowed three children per family. Although the people are allowed to choose whom ever they want to get married to. Everyone in my community would have to go to school all the way to high school. After high school you would have to go to collage, and finish collage. You would be able to choose the career of your choice.

My version of an ideal community would be one that is honest and fair. People would have a say and choices wither they choice good or bad it would be there choice and they would have to deal with the consecences that come with them. The goverment would be a Democracy, like today's goverment. The people would choce whom they want to be govern or leaded but,there would be a rule you must vote. I want people to express there opinion so thats why you must have a say in the goverment.Also we don't chose how we look do we? Even in Jonas's community doctors couldn't fully active sameness could they? They tried really hard to but they couldn't. Fiona is an example of that she had bright red hair or Jonas he had pale eyes. My point is that no one can look or have the same charaterstics as everyone else. Were all diffrent ,so there's no point in trying to make everyone the same beacuse it will never be active. That's why in my commuinty you would look like...well you I guess. You have whatever traits your mom and dad gave you.There would be a varity of many diffrent people. The citzens in my community will have freedom to make any choices they want so if they want to have a family the can and if they don't want onw well they won't have one. You would have they right to marry whoever and have a resonable amoount of children.If you want three girls by all means go ahead if you want two girl and I dunno three boys go head it your family; your going to feed and raise them not me.education will be a vidal thing in my community kids woun't be able to drop out of school and will have at least one degree in collage. and the must attened collage wither its two, four, or eight years you must attened.

I would have a layed back commiunity. My rules would be that you can drink anything you won't after five drinks. The government will not lie just tell what's true. It'll look like aplace you would have fun at an you will have normal weather. They have to love their spouse an siblings. How to express themselves how to care for one an another.

I would have had a Government where the people would decide what they want to change, but only one person would be president. He would decide if its a good idea or not. If I had to pick from sameness or your oun stile, i'd pick stile. I would not call theme family units because i think thats really DUMB, still I want people to have there oun families and fell love and be loved. we will have the richest school in the world so we will be known for the good not for the bad.

Im my ideal community there would be freedom. There would not be any strict rules. Everything in my community would be fair and equal. If you are doing something extremely wrong like murder, stealing, or any of that nonsense, there would be harsh consequences.The people of the community would wear whatever they want and have anything they want. For the families in the community they can have as many kids as they want. Boy and girl, girl and girl, or even boy and boy, it doesnt matter. I think the family should share feelings, but only what they want to share. The people's education would be highly advance. Why? The children of this generation is our future, and we wouldnt want our future to be ruined by uneducated people. I think that most of the people's jobs in the community would be doctors, entertainment buisness, engineering, and sports.

If I where incharge of my own community.Every one would have a sweet job and as many children as they disire. The kids and adults would have 3 meals a day and a choice of ether a skateboad abike or inline skates.the education would be all good teachers and good condition of school.

I would put it like it is today.and to where the people can choose what they want to change anything they want to but there will be things that people remeber.We will have elections to see who gets to be president,so it will just be a good ecomony.My people in community will not have the same things they will be differnt in there own way.The familys here will be a real one.The parents will have there own kids,and childern will know who there real parents are.All types of education,And we will have more schools,and the kids get to pick there own carrer.Brithdays will be celebrated all there life.There will be many jobs here.They will have cars and bikes little kids and bikes until they get older.

If I was in charge of a community a few of my rules would be like no gangs, no violence, no cops or immagration. Fammilys could have as many children as you want. You could pick any career and do what ever you want when ever you want unless its illegal like drugs etc... My community would look like Chicago. In the middle of the community there would be a copy of the huge Sears Tower. The type of education in my community would be engineering, math, literature, science, and cooking.

If I had a option to make a new community there would only be few rules . Those rules would be , no drama , no bullying , and you could start driving at the age of fourteen. Also the family unit would only be able to have three children . This would help our economy because there would be no great depression. For last everyone has an option to finish college or not. This community would be the best !

I would create a democratic goverment with rules just like U.S.A for fairness 1 example is of a rule is drive in a car too fast you get a ticket. And it will be playstation home-like( from ps3) with houses at super low prices like loot space apartment, mount olympus house,ghostbuster house,and so much more houses,my family units will be as many as children as they want, and finally, people will play video games for education.

If I was in charge of running a community of my own then it would have a fun government and I wouldn't make them not have there own choices in life. My community would have sunlight, it would have beautiful houses. We all will have different types of ways of leaving . My community will have,different houses and they will get to choose how ever many kids they want to have.It would have the neccessary types of education and we will also have fun in our classes. There would be k-12th grade levels,they can be any age.

I would have a goverment that will be cool an not so strick on are rules. In my community rules are to be kind, thoughtful,and loving to each other. Also in my society every thing will be very happy with gardens, bluidings,and music so that anyone/everyone can come to have a great time. Well here in my community people be won't asigned or given any kids as if it was a kind of present.

if i would have had my own community, rules and the ways of living would have been far from different than in the story of "The Giver." My community wouldn't be close to perfect either. Houses were to be made how the people wanted. The people here would have choices.
Families were created by love, and could also fall apart with hate and pain. Families could also have children if they wanted to. There is no specific number of kids a family could have.
The rules are also simple; No crimes, no problems . People here are to respect one another . Concequences are made to those who just can't follow directions the first time given .
Kids aren't given jobs until they're around 16 because their only job at between the ages of 1-15 is to live thier childhood to the fullest. Kids are required to go to school.

I would make everything as todays society , but instead have no murders , but theres other crimes .it would have small houses, big houses , ugly houses cute houses as well. it would be a variety! people can be therselves . Wouldnt be a dress code . It could be boy & boy , girl and girl , girl and boy dosent matter how many kids you have or who your parents are. We would have math , language arts , social studies , science and what not. We would also have PE and Art , it would be a great learning enviorment.

1.) in my community i would have the following rules:you may not lie, you may choose your own job, go to school until you're 10 yrs old, no littering, no crime.
2.)My community would have these features: sun, seasons, snow, hills, colors, cars, and the things we have now.
3.) the family units would consist of2 or more kids that you birthed, a husband, wife, and as many pets as you want.
4.)In my community you would have to have 10 years of schooling,and the subject will be science of all kids, reading of all kinds, math of all kinds, E.L.A. of all kinds, S.S. of all kinds, P.E. of all kinds, Art of all kinds, Music of all kinds, computer science, technology, health, spanish, french, and portagues laungages.

If I were in charge of creating a new community, the type of government it would be is a democratic. The rules would consit of having to help build your own house no matter the size, have to have a high school diploma to apply for jobs, everybody must go outside everyday for at least two hours, and once a week there will be a special dinner provided. The physical features the community would have are pink, purple, and blue skies. There would be hills, and the houses could be anything the owner would like it to be, only if they're willing to help build it. Also maple trees will be planted around every corner. In the community the family unit, would have be grandparents, mommys and daddys, and at least four children. The type of education I would like my community to have is just like any normal school in the real world, but going to college is optional. Just a high school diploma is required.
