Good Job Ducky!!! Thats always so much fun to do! :) I remember doing that with my band teacher:)I took recorder lessons, even though I was forced to be totured by it in grade school, so I could learn flute. But instead I was totured for nothing! I ended up learning how to play pain, and I learned recorder for about a year. I HATED it!
Recorder bothered me 'cause the kids who practiced were the kids everyone liked, and I never bothered to practice 'cause it was a waste of time for me. I wanted to play a real orchestral instrument.

Go Ducky!I know, but paino is worth the effort, it helps with my songs, so they actually have a tune.:)
Ducky wrote: "In comment 102 you said how to play PAIN. Did you mean piano?"lol yes, my spell check thing keeps putting paino as pain… grrr, sorry.
I taught myself how to play recorder because I got bored one day... I know how to play piano but I know I don't do the fingering right. I play mallets and it's the same layout as a piano but you use mallets. I'm attempting to learn to play guitar. I suck at tuning though so it makes it 10x harder.

My music teacher in grade school was the best. He was strict but a really great teacher. He retired the year after I graduated though.
He kept saying that he was going to retire after all the -insert our last name here-'s graduated but then my little brother came and he didn't stay...
I know! A lot of people hated him but I never got why... He was strict but he wasn't mean or anything.
That's how my second grade teacher was. He was an amazing second-grade teacher, but then he taught PE in fifth grade and everyone hated him.
(headdesk) Great. My brother says he'd like to say hi, and will not leave the room until he does. Here he is, then...then, a redcoat jumps out a door, yelling, "Rebel dogs!". Then he jumps overboard yelling "save yourselves" while cursing the name of Jimmy J. Johnson.
(sigh) Right. That's his way of saying "hi."
Ducky wrote: "That's how my second grade teacher was. He was an amazing second-grade teacher, but then he taught PE in fifth grade and everyone hated him."I liked him, I just didn't get him.
OH ODD!! I feel like such an idiot now...I suppose it was 'cause I was distracted. I'm attempting to do to many things at once. XD
Kyra wrote: "Frances'. And hey, Frances. Do I even WANT to know why you're eating a popsicle while typing???"Oh, um, well according to my friend I'm addicted to popsicles because I'm always eating one while I'm texting him so yeah... I just like popsicles.
(sigh) I'm shocked you even got on that quickly. You're never on anymore. Even I'M starting to miss you a little, so you see how desperate our situation is. XD
I'm changing my profile picture. The only reason I'm saying this is because last time I changed it Ducky got mad at me for switching it out on her. So... surprise, Ducky!!! XD
