Having busted not one but two students today for plagiarizing from Wankapedia, I'm fascinated by how absolutely uninteresting they can make any subject sound.

You know, I'm glad my students don't have to do that many research papers, because I'd want to slap them silly if I busted them for plagarism, Kirk.

I sometimes think when people write wikipedia entries they take on a pseudo-scholarly tone of voice that can be called "wikipedespeak."

Not long ago I had a student who lost her class notes and looked up a concept on wikipedia. I was confused as hell when she turned in her paper because the materials was all....wrong...so I asked her about it. She said, "That's what you get when you google Marzano factors."

I can't believe the dumbass admitted her research was so shoddy.
