Bernadette Walsh | 14 comments I'm a writer and also a cradle Catholic. I'm not sure what I write can be classified as "Catholic" fiction, but my religion is so much a part of who I am that it of course impacts my writing. My novel THE HOUSE ON PROSPECT deals with one women's loss of faith. I think often writers are afraid to label themselves as Catholic because they are afraid of alienating non-Catholic readers. I embrace my very imperfect Catholicism.

Below is a blurb from my book.

My novel, THE HOUSE ON PROSPECT, was released in January.

Ellen Murphy spent her childhood in an idyllic house by the sea. A house surrounded by flower-filled gardens and a white picket fence. A house she fled at eighteen. A house full of secrets.
