My two cents: (view spoiler)[I've lived in rural areas most of my life, and you can definitely tell that a rodent has chewed on something vs a human. Their teeth are extremely sharp and things that have been chewed on are more shredded than what a human could accomplish. Just my opinion of course. (hide spoiler)]

Stefan, thanks - Like I said, I've never seen anything a rat has chewed on... at least not that I KNEW of. That's good to know... and it definitely does add to the mystery. LOL
