Same as the other thread and this month the continent is Asia! A continent steeped in culture and history and one that I called home for 5 years and will miss for the rest of my life.

New Rules
Nominate 3 books and every book you choose gets one point. So the books that have the most nominations will go to poll. Simple;)

Don't forget you have until the 7th to change your vote if you want to. The polls will start on the 8th and end on the 15th. You do not have to nominate three books, one or two is fine. If you want to write a small amount about your choices that's fine too. It's all up to you :)

You've done it again! The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle was on my list and I changed it at the last minute. It's on so many best of lists and many people say it's his best work.

:) We must think alike Kirsty. I've not read any of Murakami's books yet, but I remember you saying how wonderful they are and I just like the sound of this one, it sounds quite surreal.

His books are an experience that's for sure. I still have to finish Kafka on the Shore but I'm really keen to read The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle and I have Snow Flower and the Secret Fan on my 12 + 3 (the only reason I haven't voted for it is because I fancy reading some non fiction so I chose Mao's Last Dancer instead:)
