Curious to learn why people joined this group. Thinking of helping the group be more active, but want to understand group members before taking steps.

I'm very late on this response but I was looking for some investment discussion, what people were, etc. Anything you can recommend? I'm in the middle of Blue Ocean Strategy, not technically an investing book but interesting none-the-less. Definitely a strategy to think about when looking for companies to invest in.
Thanks for the response James. I have some ideas, but depends on what the group members want. Ideas:- Investment ideas
- Sample valuations
- Recommended books
- Schedule local meetups/events
James, which value investing books have you read?
Some of the books that have most changed my worldview have been on economics and investing. I have a list of some favorites here: http://www.theaureport.com/pub/htdocs...I was wondering if anyone can recommend books in this same vein that changed the way you see the investing landscape?
This website is full of readers, value investors are the most avid readers, yet there are so few investors I've found on here. The number of value investors in the world seems to be very small (which is actually good... imagine if everyone not only read but also practiced Ben Graham).I'd like to find like-minded individuals to learn alongside, and find a mentor who is a practitioner.
