Nice list, Maureen! I have The Art of Racing in the Rain on my tbr shelf. Many people have recommended it!

message 3: by Maureen (new)

Maureen (readingnut) Thank you!!

I picked up "The Art of Racing in the Rain" last summer from a 2nd hand store! Looks brand new!!

message 4: by [deleted user] (new)

It is pretty current, I think. (I looked -- 2008)

Maureen (readingnut) Well, Finished 1 book! YAY me!!! The ending was great! Totally made up for a bit of a slow plot at the beginning.

Hayes (hayes13) Brava!

message 8: by Kim (new)

Kim (kimmr) Well done, Maureen!

message 9: by Maureen (new)

Maureen (readingnut) Thank you everyone for the comments!!

And I have finished a 2nd book. This book was really good. The plot was fast paced and kept me guessing until the end, which is why I plowed through it! Couldn't put it down!

message 10: by Maureen (new)

Maureen (readingnut) Finished a 3rd book! I love this week off from work I have!!

Spring break? :)

message 12: by Maureen (new)

Maureen (readingnut) You betcha! Spring Break!

message 13: by [deleted user] (new)

Ours was last week. Enjoy!

message 14: by Maureen (new)

Maureen (readingnut) Thank you! I certainly am. The weather has turned sunny and warmer, which is great! And I'm finding time to read, which is even better! LOL

message 15: by Maureen (new)

Maureen (readingnut) Finished The bodies left behind by Jeffery Deaver

I really enjoyed this book. The story was well developed and I loved all the twists and turns!

Looks like a perfect spring break book, when you have time to stay up late reading. I never think of Milwaukee as having a gritty underside. ;)

message 17: by Maureen (new)

Maureen (readingnut) LOL I would've been a good spring break book, sadly I am back to work, but the weather is turning nice now and the days are getting longer!!

message 18: by Maureen (new)

Maureen (readingnut) Finished Night Whispers by Judith McNaught.

It was a good book, but I have read better.

message 19: by Maureen (new)

Maureen (readingnut) Ok, it's been awhile since I updated my status here. I've read The Fiery Cross and Inheritance, both of which I enjoyed.

message 20: by [deleted user] (new)

Welcome back, Maureen! Have you got all of your books unpacked and in their new home?

message 21: by Maureen (new)

Maureen (readingnut) Yes! I do have my books unpacked. However, I still would like to have one big bookcase instead of having my books all over the house!

message 22: by Hayes (new)

Hayes (hayes13) Moving! how fun is that? (ugh!)

Glad you and your books are all settled in.

message 23: by [deleted user] (new)

I have my books all over the house, and I enjoy seeing them everywhere!

message 24: by Maureen (new)

Maureen (readingnut) Yes, all over the house can be good, but I have books hiding away in my closet because I don't have enough space to put them all! LOL

message 25: by [deleted user] (new)

Well, I hope you get that new bookcase asap!

message 26: by Maureen (new)

Maureen (readingnut) Ok! I've updated the books I've read. Only 3 left to go on my list. I would probably get them read faster if I stopped reading OTHER books!! HAHAHA

message 27: by [deleted user] (new)

Same here! I have 3 to go and I haven't look at the list for two months...

message 28: by Maureen (new)

Maureen (readingnut) Alright, 1 book on the list left and I think it's the biggest book! Perhaps I'll start it tonight, considering I just finished a book last night.

message 29: by [deleted user] (new)

No pressure! Maybe you should look for a slimmer book on your shelves. ;)
