Becky (beckyofthe19and9) Some of those books look really interesting... I would especially like to read his #1 pick, In Pale Battalions.

(I did get an "oh goodness, what IS this world coming to?" chuckle out of the comment that was left on this one though.)

Rachel | 701 comments I was in desparate need of something to read this morning so I went to Borders and picked up The Garden of Last Days. I'm only about thirty pages in but it is really good. I always end up picking something off this list of books (Long time EW subscriber) and enjoying it. That's how I read Cormac McCarthy's The Road two years ago. The description of The Garden of Last Days in the list made it not sound interesting to me so I searched it on and found a column Stephen King wrote months ago going into more detail about the book. Interesting column too.
