Why The Tiger's Wife??

I've only read two on this list, "The Tiger's Wife & State of Wonder". I prefer "State of Wonder".

Susan, for me "The Tiger's Wife" is a wonderful mix of fokelore, history, and mystery. It seemed almost magical. I simply loved the beauty of the story and the insight into the characters that happened in the unusual method of telling the story. It is one of the few books I would re read.

I have read 2 books on this list :

Tiger's wife - loved the tale. I think the book was brilliant.

Sense of an ending - got lost in the book till the end. A bit dry in reading but excellent read.

Another book I read recently which blew me away totally is the Night Circus by Erin Morganstien. Its a surreal read into a fantasy laden world. the images evoked by the text are thought compelling and brilliant.
