Acuvue had a $50 rebate that they offered if you bought 8 boxes of lenses (a year's supply). But all the rebate forms were set up so that you had to purchase 8 boxes of the same lens (they could be different strengths, but needed to be the same type of lens).
Well I bought a year's supply of Acuvue lenses but my right eye requires a lens for astigmatism and my left does not. So I filled out the rebate form and attached a letter explaining that I did buy a year's worth of Acuvue lenses but didn't technically qualify for the rebate, would they please consider rewarding me the rebate anyway?
