Michael Cargill Cargill (michaelcargill) Morning.

I released my latest book yesterday so if anyone likes short stories they are (possibly) in for a treat. Blurby bit:

John is not a very nice man. He works for the government. So who has tied him to a chair and what do they want? James is a British soldier during WWII. Tom is a young boy with a terrible secret.

Three stories. Three very different people. All of them battling to survive.

It is available on the Kindle store and on Smashwords

Kindle US
Kindle UK

If anyone is willing to write a review on their blog, Amazon or Goodreads then they can use the following code for a free copy from the Smashwords link above.

Code - NT88S

The book is DRM free so can be lent out as desired.

Delilah (delilahdraken) | 157 comments This sounds very interesting. I'm willing to write a review for you.

Michael Cargill Cargill (michaelcargill) Thank you Delilah, you are very kind. And also my new best friend.

Any problems please don't hesitate to contact me!

Delilah (delilahdraken) | 157 comments Will do. And thank you.

Delilah (delilahdraken) | 157 comments I'm now through the first story of the book and can only say Wow, that was intense. Just intense and breath-taking.

If it's okay with you I'll try to have the book finished in a week or two, most probably far sooner. I would have probably given you a review of the whole book today, if I didn't already have three books waiting for a review for the Read It & Reap project here.

Sorry about letting you wait.

And many thanks for letting me read your stories.

Michael Cargill Cargill (michaelcargill) No need to apologise Delilah - the pleasure is all mine.

I am glad you are liking it so far and your comment had me grinning like an idiot child when I read it.

Please take your time.

Laura Thomas (laurathomas) | 562 comments I just purchased your book. I hope to have a review for you in a week or so. I have several reviews to do first. Will post my review at several sites and will let you know. I've been wanting to read this! Thanks so much:)

Michael Cargill Cargill (michaelcargill) Thank you for taking the time to do this Laura.

I hope you enjoy it!

Laura Thomas (laurathomas) | 562 comments No, THANK YOU:) I'm thrilled to do this.

Erin Black (eblack) | 67 comments Awesome! I just downloaded your book today, Michael. Cant wait to read and review it!! :)

Michael Cargill Cargill (michaelcargill) Ah, I got an email from Smashwords saying someone had used the code - now I know who it was!

Hope you enjoy it and thank you for taking the time to do it.

Delilah (delilahdraken) | 157 comments And here's my review. My apologies that it took so long to finish.

Michael Cargill Cargill (michaelcargill) Thank you Erin, glad you enjoyed it.

I was actually following your comment/review as you read it. I felt a bit dirty like a Facebook stalker but I just couldn't resist.

Thanks once again.

Erin Black (eblack) | 67 comments Haha!! I would have been doing the same thing as you if I was in your shoes!

I have to ask...do you write from experience with the war stories?? They were just so emotional and descriptive.

Michael Cargill Cargill (michaelcargill) Nope, no personal experience on anything war-related.

I am just another office worker I am afraid. I do occasionally get to sharpen my keyboard when arguing with people on Internet forums but that's about it.

Erin Black (eblack) | 67 comments Well that is impressive. Very well written! :)

Laura Thomas (laurathomas) | 562 comments Hi Michael. I apologize that it has taken this long to read and review your book. Your stories are so much more than what I was expecting. Here are the links to my review. I will get back with you when I post a longer one on my blog. Thanks so much!
