Mauro (mauromdc) I propose any of these (the ones I have already bought but pending to read):

Les Misérables

The Company

Our Mutual Friend

Don Quixote

El puente de Alcántara

Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy

Any takers? :)

Interesting picks. I've never read any of these books before; however, I've been meaning to read Les Miserable for the longest which will be coming up soon for our next group read. So keep a look out for the starting date :)

Martha I'm interested in reading Don Quixote too.

Mauro (mauromdc) If you haven't read it yet, The Count of Monte Cristo is one of the best long books I've read!!

Also very interesting for me was The Quincunx

And one of my all time favorites From Here to Eternity

Dhfan4life Yep, I read The Count of Monte Cristo in high school and ate it up. Great storytelling and for the first time ever I don't recall being stuck in the verbage of a story like that.
