What do you think of these novels/stories/shows?

Weenie | 21 comments What's the difference between a 'novella' and a 'novelette'?

Laurel Mojica | 4 comments From their website (with a little digging)
For the purposes of the Nebula Awards:

* Short Story: less than 7,500 words;
* Novelette: at least 7,500 words but less than 17,500 words;
* Novella: at least 17,500 words but less than 40,000 words
* Novel: 40,000 words or more.
* At the author’s request, a novella-length work published individually, rather than as a part of a collection, anthology, or other collective work, shall appear in the novel category.

The only one that I've read in all categories was God's War, and I think it's a well deserved nomination.

Kenny Chaffin (kennychaffin) | 96 comments Being a 'forever' SF reader and sometimes writer I'm always interested in both the Nebulas and the Hugos. Short stories are my favorite, but it is hard/expensive to read all of them up front. Not sure if there is an anthology for these out yet or not. ... ah here it is, http://www.amazon.com/Nebula-Awards-S... but will not be published until the week of the actual awards. :(

Amazingly, looks like many of the nominated stories are on line though! Yea!!
