A long dock on the far side of the lake. There is a small bait shop by the shore and motor boats are tied all along the dock. It's great for fishing off of or simply sitting on and watching the sunrise.

Nash sat by the dock, looking up at the sky. His hands were deep in his pockets and his fingers were tracing the etching of the clock face. Memories flickered slowly through his thoughts.
((hmmm...I'm bored. Should I bring someone here? Do you care who?))

Janessa walked along the edge of the dock. Ever since she was little, her dad would frequently take her on boating trips with the small boat he had bought before Janessa was even born. It was old, rusted, and peeling, but it still worked great. She wasn't a big fan of how it looked and had planned on painting it newly this summer. But now, she liked coming here and listening to the waves hit the side of the creaky dock, sending the ships bouncing as the energy traveled beneath them. She also always brought her bag of rocks. Along with learning how to steer, take care of, and learn techniques about their little boat, she had had a lot of time to learn how to skip rocks. It was one of her favorite pass-times, and was much easier with her power, but she hardly ever used it to improve her score. Now, she wore bare-feet with jean shorts and a green jacket, which was one of her more favorite outfits. Janessa walked carefully across the rotting wood, then saw a young man sitting on the ledge where she'd always throw her rocks. She grimaced, liking this to be a spot where she could think by herself, but she shrugged her shoulders and walked to the ledge, sitting down, and picking out a perfectly round rock, rubbing it through her hands, not saying anything to the stranger...yet.
Nash heard feet falls on the ground and noticed a figure out of the corner of his eye. Instinctively, his hands plunged deeper into his jacket pockets. He had spent too long hiding his skills not to do so. Of course, that didn't stop people from thinking he was strange, but he didn't say anything. Whoever it was, they would have to leave eventually.
Janessa gripped it in her hand for a second, then let her arm swing back and let the rock fly as she could. The sun was just beginning to set and it was currently hitting the edge of the water, causing her to have to bring her hand up to her eyes to try and block out some of the sunlight. She counted softly, "14...15...16...17," and continued until she could see it no more. She hear rustling and glanced over to see the stranger seem to suddenly tense up, she shrugged and picked up another rock instead.
Nash watched the rock skip impossibly far, he had seen people with 'quirks' like that before, she wasn't merely good, and he knew it.
