I think that it should be strongly enforced at 21. Or raised to 25.

I think the age is fine, but more strongly enforced. WAY more enforced. Underage teens get a way with it way too much.Why would you lower. That's a lot more people and a lot more accidents.
Well then your brother drinks illegally, as does many underage teenagers.Look it's just not right. People that young don't need to be drinking.

Yeah..this is a tough topic. I think alcohol should just be banned except for religious stuff. But I know some people like drinking and stuff and would hate to have it banned, it would be overall good for the country and it's people. Look at how many car accidents there are because of drunk driving even though it's illegal. And the crazy stuff people do sometimes when they're really drunk...
Drinking really isn't good for you.
I know many/some people drink responsibly, but I'm talking about the general public. Overall, no drunk people=a safer America.

But I know some people like drinking and stuff and would hate to have it banned, it would be overall good for the country and it's people. When I say that alcohol should be banned I only mean the highly concentrated one that totally makes you completely drunk. I suppose a light drink here or there for somebody overage is okay.

Alcohol consumption should be waaaay more regulated....and i want the age limit to be pushed up to like 26 or something. Except of course for the occasional religious ceremonies....

21 is the limit. Most people start drinking at around 18. If the limit was 24, people (probably) wouldn't drink until about 21, when their body is able to handle it.

Unfortunately, I don't believe that if the legal age goes up the yearning age also goes up.

In Canada, the drinking age is 18.

Alcohol is a big deal because we make it a big deal. Were you guys who disagree ever kids?? Mom/dad said don't have sex.... Bought condoms. Don't smoke pot... Bought zig-zags. Don't drink... Mad Dog 50/50. If you protect the world from idiots, a world of idiots is created.
I'm totally against alcohol. In the past, I guess you kinda had to use it for anesthesia, but not now. There are so many accidents due to drunk driving, so many unintended pregnancies that are around because two kids were drinking together, and to many dumb people around because they are drinking some junk that kills brain cells. Alcohol consumption is plain stupid.

Driving age is sixteen here. But yes, driving+drinking privileges in the same year would be bad. Seems like it would be better for people to start driving after having drinking privileges for a while, so they know what happens when under the influence and will be maybe a bit more careful.
Are you implying that the drinking age should be lowered to lower than sixteen?
