Just to say that I've been playing with a new iPad2 that I got yesterday courtesy of my mobile phone supplier (and for a small additional rental charge). A remarkable machine!

One thing that is really great and relevant here is the way it handles Kindle books via its Kindle app. The user gets everything they would have on a Kindle but from their iPad and the reading experience is really good.

It's set me thinking that Kindle authors should be marketing their books to iPad users.

Best wishes

Seb

S.M. Johnson (smjohnsonwrites) Oooh! I just got an iPad this weekend. I've been so paranoid about getting it into a useable case and getting a screen protector on the darn thing that I've hardly played with it. So - I take it there's a Kindle app? LOL.

The books I've published through Smashwords wind up for sale on iTunes, which I thought was incredibly exciting.

So how do you think we go about marketing to iPad users?

Well, there's a new FB page that I had a hand in where you can promote your books!

http://www.facebook.com/pages/Kindle-...

Just select 'Everyone' and post about your book!

Best wishes

Good to hear from you. Good luck with your book!

Your book appears in every way on the Kindle App for iPad as it does on Kindle. It's really wonderful and makes a mockery of all the talk about Apple being overcompeittive with Amz. The Kindlee App for iPad is a free download!

Seb,

I posted my cover and link on the Facebook Page. The cover picture came out rather large. Hope this is okay. If not, I apologize and please delete.

I couldn't see your post there. Maybe the image was indeed too big. Please consider trying again with a smaller version of the cover.

Best wishes

M.S. Nightingale (msnightwriter) I have the mini iPad, and love it. I also have the Kindle app for iPad loaded, and have several books downloaded to it.
