Beth, I am reading Eloisa James's book The Duke Is Mine The Duke Is Mine (Fairy Tales, #3) by Eloisa James , which is a spin on the Princess and the Pea tale. She's written other books recently that have also been fairy tales that you should check out. In this one, she addresses in an afterward her use of fairy tales as inspiration for romance novels.

I'm seeing more books with demons and a lot of small-town romances popping up. The increasing popularity of authors Susan Mallery, Kristan Higgins, Jill Shalvis, and Rachel Gibson is proof the contemporary romance is back. In a world of uncertainty people are reflecting on the simple things in life - love and family!
