Bill (kernos) | 88 comments I voted for the following. Some books I don't understand why they are listed like Dune or A Mote in God's Eye and some surely don't belong on a best list. But, that's the way of Listopia. My Votes:

Dhalgren by Samuel R. Delany
Stars in My Pocket Like Grains of Sand by Samuel R. Delany
Stranger in a Strange Land by Robert A. Heinlein
The Left Hand of Darkness by Ursula K. Le Guin
Wraeththu by Storm Constantine
Ethan of Athos by Lois McMaster Bujold

Bookwatcher (bookwatcher) I vote it some time ago, and my list was (and still is)

Heroes & Ghosts by S.A. Payne
An Uncommon Whore by Belinda McBride
The Last Pure Human by Twisted Hilarity (online WIP, as the list don't say nothing against WIP I vote it)
Details of the Hunt by Laura Baumbach

I am not usually a fan of WIPs, but I love The Last Pure Human in a "guilty pleasures" way.

Kernos, I believe it means "work in progress". I avoid these myself, as I do not like being left hanging with no end in sight. I have enjoyed them once they are finished though.

J'aime (jshillingford) I loved "Angel 1089" and "The Finder."

Well, I voted a while ago, but sometimes it seems to drop a bunch of them and change the order around. Driving me nuts, they're

1. Storms and Stars
2. Stealing Some Time: Volume 1
3. Fireheart
4. A Strong and Sudden Thaw
5. The Falcon Banner
