The Demi-Monde: Winter (The Demi-Monde Saga, #1) The Demi-Monde question

logic flaw? (possible spoiler)

The Demi Monde is created by programmers to be a virtual training tool for soldiers to experience AWE. Yet humans in the Demi Monde can be killed and dying in the Demi Monde means dying in the real world. Why would programmers create that feature? Doesn't that negate the "training" aspect of the application?

I wondered the same thing.

There is so few logic in this book, in the moment i cannot decide if that is just a bad book or a very clever book that plays in a terrible bad programmed world.
