I added the Nook ebook edition, in which it gave an ISBN. When it added, it came up as ASIN. You'll see I combined the editions b/c it looked like two different books, but it looks correct, I think.

Can someone just double-check my work, see if I did it right? I never added a book before.

thanks.

Kim (catmommie) | 82 comments This one was an unknown title and author, a Kindle, and I found it on Smashwords and Nook, which I fixed all the info, just unsure on the ISBN numbers.

The non ISBN/ASIN was wrong. I've added the B&N ISBN as Smashwords doesn't issue them as far as I can tell.

Otherwise it looked correct Kim.

Off to check out the second one.

Kim, Dangerous Inheritance was a Kindle edition not ebook - the ASIN is basically only for Kindle.

We use the edition field for things like Large Print or Movie Tie-In or 7th edition, not the publisher's name again.

Otherwise looking good. Hope the pointers help for future adds :)

Kim (catmommie) | 82 comments ok, because it was from Smashwords and B&N, that's where I got the isbn, that's what confused me. then I can add another edition for the other ebook.

So, if it's a "B" number, it's just Kindle? Regular ebooks are just a number, no letter, like the isbn?

Sandra | 31614 comments Yes, that is correct.

The ISBN will either have 10 or 13 numbers, that is why the one that appeared was wrong, it had I think 12 numbers, and they weren't in the right order either.
