Meghan had this great idea to have a live book discussion after we had so much fun chatting about GG "live" with you all. We need to be fair and wait until the end of the month, and it needs to be on a day where everyone could be available... so I was thinking that Saturday December 1st would be best. Late afternoon PST (early evening EST) would likely work. What do you all think?

Sarah (songgirl7) I'll be working weekends after Thanksgiving.

Bibliosaurus | 22 comments I think that's a great idea. Unfortunately, I work on Saturdays. I could do it early afternoon before 2PST on Sunday Dec. 2.

Erica Poole | 199 comments I have no real life, hubby works and all my friends are restaurant people, so anytime nights and weekends EST works for me!

Tiffany That should work for me. I love the idea of a live chat.

Hey, if the timing isn't good for you, name better! We want as many involved as we can get!!

Meghan Hey can we have a couple of times? That way time zones and work and such won't exclude any one.

What I mean is say have one for Friday November 30th at 7 pm EST. Then have one for Saturday, December 1st at 7 pm PST? (Times and dates are given solely for example's sake.)

Just thinking this way the East Coast people wouldn't have to stay up uber late and the West Coast don't have to miss out because they're at work or eating dinner or whatever.

But yay! Thanks for listening to my suggestion. I heart this club :)

Sarah (songgirl7) I heart this club too. But here's my dilemma: I am going to be helping out a friend of the family at her store for the holiday season. I have no idea what my schedule is going to be, but I know it will include weekends. So I can't really commit to a time or date right now unless it was before Thanksgiving. So you guys go ahead and pick a time, and if I can make it, I'll be here.

Sarah (songgirl7) My store will be closing at 6:00 PST on Saturdays and at 5:00 PST on Sundays, so if it is after that, I can make it.

Are weekdays better for most?

message 13: by Meghan (last edited Aug 25, 2016 01:58PM) (new)

Meghan I think it would be smart to have a couple of dates with a couple of different times scheduled. You're not going to be able to get everyone, but if a good group can make it, the conversation still should be worth it. I think it's worth a try!

If you are interested in a "live" book discussion about The Time Traveler's Wife, then join us for the first discussion on Saturday December 1st at 3PM PST, 6PM EST.

There will be at least one other during the week, as well, to try to get more people involved. Sadly, I will likely not be around this weekend to participate, but will enjoy reading what you all had to say later! Have a great time!
