Kinda.

message 103: by [deleted user] (new)

How long have you guys been DW fans? Cause you sound like relativeky new fans.

Unicorn Wasp was alright. Better than "The Doctors Daughter"

I am a newish fan. I've been a fan for a little less than a year, probably. I've seen all the Matt Smith ones, but only a few with David Tennant or Christopher Eccleston.

message 105: by [deleted user] (new)

Oh. You seen any of the classics?

William Hartnell?
Peter Davies?

message 106: by Sarah, The Random Nerd (new)

Sarah (agentsd) | 11810 comments Mod
No, sadly not. :(

message 107: by Robin (new)

Robin | 5442 comments I saw a few with the first Doctor in the 2005 series. I am pretty new, though, because my brother and SD got me started this year, so I've been watching it on Netflix. I figured I would work back. Watch all the Matt Smith ones so I can watch as a viewer when season 7 comes on, then watch all the David Tennant ones and so on.

message 108: by [deleted user] (new)

Then Chris Eccleston?

Then 8th doctor
Then Silvester McCoy
Then...........

Robin, did you know that Chris Eccleston is the 9th doc?

2013 is Doc whos 50th anniversary!!! I can't wait for it!

C’mon cuz our time is here now!
C’mon! Can’t you hear it?
C’mon! Don’t fear it–
Just listen to the sound now,
And come on round now…
Cuz we’re calling,
We’re calling… YOU!

SO. ANNOYING.

message 120: by Sarah, The Random Nerd (new)

Sarah (agentsd) | 11810 comments Mod

message 121: by [deleted user] (new)

message 122: by Fran (new)

Fran (franswims) | 3422 comments Yeah, its a very catchy in a kinda annoying way...

message 123: by Sarah, The Random Nerd (new)

Sarah (agentsd) | 11810 comments Mod
Because getting annoying songs stuck in other people's heads is the sincerest form of flattery! Or something like that.

message 124: by Robin (new)

Robin | 5442 comments Right. Something like that, SD.
I really have to hear a song to have it get stuck in my head.

message 125: by Fran (new)

Fran (franswims) | 3422 comments Now I have a song from band stuck in my head.

Sarah (agentsd) | 11810 comments Mod
Great, have fun!

message 133: by [deleted user] (new)

I will! But the friend has REALLY bad taste in movies.

message 134: by [deleted user] (new)

And he doesn't like the "staying up late talking aspect. But once he's asleep everyone else always talks

message 135: by Sarah, The Random Nerd (new)

Sarah (agentsd) | 11810 comments Mod
Oh that sucks... What movies does he like?

message 136: by Robin (new)

Robin | 5442 comments Ha ha. I have kinda "sleepover group". There's five of us and we stay up super late talking, baking, making huge messes, or watching cool movies. Or playing our game "Scenario". We got yelled at once for staying up super late to watch National Treasure on tele.
Do guys have sleepovers? My older brothers never did. I few dudes in my class do occasionally. You know how sometimes girls talk about the class and such and guys and other rubbish? {I talk about something cool and then everyone stares at me.} Does that mean guys gossip and talk about girls?

message 137: by [deleted user] (new)

Sarah wrote: "Oh that sucks... What movies does he like?"

He likes things like "Die Hard" with no storyline:(. It's good for entertainment though. Last time we watched Alien VS Predator which was better than I expected... For an action movie

Robin wrote: "Ha ha. I have kinda "sleepover group". There's five of us and we stay up super late talking, baking, making huge messes, or watching cool movies. Or playing our game "Scenario". We got yelled at on..."

Yeah, guys have sleepovers. But I wouldn't call talking about girls "Gossiping". Unless it's to do with... never mind, you wouldn't get it

message 139: by Sarah, The Random Nerd (new)

Sarah (agentsd) | 11810 comments Mod
Well that's sexist. :-/ We aren't typical girls, y'know. All of my friends in "the real world" are guys. So yes, I think we'd get it.

message 140: by [deleted user] (new)

Sarah wrote: "Well that's sexist. :-/ We aren't typical girls, y'know. All of my friends in "the real world" are guys. So yes, I think we'd get it."

Well, no, it's not sexist! Guys pretty much only gossip about how ****** girls can be. Not sexist because you guys aren't, but I know 1 or 2 girls who are. Oh, and everyone else talks about how hot Megan Fox is (not hot)

message 141: by Sarah, The Random Nerd (new)

Did anyone do any cartwheels?

I have sleepovers occasionally... I usually watch a movie and then we stay up late texting people who will stay up and talking about random stuff... I really don't care about guys all that much... I don't really like girls who think that if they don't have a boyfriend the world is going to end or whatever... I'm not really into the whole gossiping thing... The one time my friend slept over and we watched a movie and then stayed up til like 3am talking haha.

message 143: by Robin (new)

Robin | 5442 comments XD Ha ha, nice, Frances!

I have to sit through my friends going on about their boyfriends. It's rubbish.
"Yadda yadda yadda SO CUTE! Blah blah blah and then I kissed him...."
"OH MY GOD! Really?! That is so cool thhhppppptttt..."
And then after like, a half hour-an hour, someone will go "Robin, are you all right?" 'cause my eyes will glaze over and I'll think about Quantum Physics or such and I'll be like "Hmmm? Yeah I'm fine. And no, of course I'm not listening."

Anyway, moral of that long and boring story is that I feel like that too, Frances.

message 144: by Fran (new)

Fran (franswims) | 3422 comments Yeah, My friend had a boyfriend (she's 2 years older than me) and she had just broke up with him so we talked about how rude he was (he was really ride when they broke up) and then how we want someone to propose to us and what we want our dream house to look like... Some of my friends have boyfriends but none of them talk obsessively about them.

message 145: by Robin (new)

Robin | 5442 comments I think, providing that I was ever in love, I would like to be proposed to at a Comic Con, in a London coffee shop with some tea, or in a library/bookshop.
Then, if I ever got married, I would like to be married while skydiving. So, not in a dress.

And when someone asks you out, they need to say, "I would wait for 2,000 years outside the Pandorica for you."

Frances wrote: "Josiah wrote: "Sarah wrote: "Oh that sucks... What movies does he like?"

Good Frances!
Although, noone did cartwheels. Oh, well, last night we stayed up late. I played on the ipod while the others talked about Cameron Diaz... Stereotypical guys

message 148: by [deleted user] (new)

Frances wrote: "Yeah, My friend had a boyfriend (she's 2 years older than me) and she had just broke up with him so we talked about how rude he was (he was really ride when they broke up) and then how we want some..."

I actually agree with all of you:) I hate people talking about bf and gfs. At this age, what's the point

message 149: by [deleted user] (new)

Sarah wrote: "And when someone asks you out, they need to say, "I would wait for 2,000 years outside the Pandorica for you.""

Well, I'll use that in 10-15 years time then:)

I know right? Seriously, what percentage of people who have boyfriends/girlfriends in middle school will end up marrying those boyfriends/girlfriends? Or even stay together with those boyfriends/girlfriends for more than a week?
