Ya, that would suck to be in her position.I don't think that she knows how much she's in love with Will, she thinks the best way to go is with Jem (when it isn't). She's really confused with both guys and you can't blame everything on her; Will only found out about his fake curse after Jem proposed. So think about how he acted when she first knew him: with a wall around him.
But one thing to blame her on is about how she should have given more time to think about getting married.

It seemed a critical point in CA that she couldn't bear a child, and Cassandra likes to throw us for a loop. She may love Jem, but she seems to be utterly "in love" with Will. Passion like theirs can not be denied. I truly feel sorry for Jem, but don't you think that she knows we feed off of that...The 'nice' guy (ie..Simon) never wins.
I think the ending will be bittersweet
Will spent basically his whole life pushing people away, making them hate him, just to find out that it was completely a lie. SO, that's one thing. Then he tells the girl he's in love with that he loves her, just to find out that his best friend is engaged to her. How do you think that feels? I certainly hope that 1. Jem doesn't die. and 2. That Tessa and Will will be together in the end. Because his life basically sucks right now.
Yeah, like MAJOR sucks. You give up EVERYTHING for everyone you love and then NEVER get anything back except more bad crap. :( Poor Will...ILOVEHIME!!

Ya, but I don't like Jem anymore...he was okay in the first one, but in the end of the second I just wanted him dead so Will and Tess can be together. He'll probably(hopefully) die of the drug(or other). But I don't know if this will be before or after the wedding; he would want to get married ASAP so he doesn't die, but a good scene would be if he starts dying during the wedding and Tess and Will would have to take care of him.
That is sooo mean!! But I wouldn't be so dissapointed if that happend :0 It is mean but........
Jem lost my sympathy a while ago; all I care about is Will and Tessa

Yeah...lucky...MY name's Julie and NOBODY writes romantically about that. It's not like Isabel(la) or Tessa, or Blake, or Clary, or Jasmine, or anything pretty. Ugh. ANyway, yeah, so that pretty much made me hate Jem...well, not hate him, just make me feel all icky about him, I guess. Pitiful, but icky...

I mean, Jem in in a world of darkness right now. He deserves happiness. But Will just spent most of his life in darkness too. IT MAKES IT SOOOOO HARD TO CHOOSE!
I know, but then again, Will has ALWAYS been there for Jem, putting Jem first and Jem hasn't really done anything big for Will. Jem realized something was wrong when he knew that Will didn't actually go out to drink. He could have easily gotten something out of Will or learned about his past and then about his sister and the demon.~J
YES!! I know!!! It irritates me because, yes, I DO feel bad for Jem, but Will has it worse. Jem just sits there and waits to die while Will is making the best of it. AND Will is trying to help Jem, while it seems Jem doesn't even care about Will (to a certain extent).Jem could have helped or by himself track the demon.

Another point for Will is how the whole 5 years that Will thought he had the curse, he never ONCE brought up or hinted that he had a curse to Jem(or anyone). He wants Jem to have a fulfilling life(since it's short. And then he knew he didn't have the curse and even then he didn't tell Jem.
Yeah, and I mean, if you think about it, that takes some serious pride swallowing. Naturally, humans want to boast and feel pitied or have some sort of attention even if it's from bad things, but Will didn't even say ANYTHING. AND, some people are complaining about how Tess only loves Will because he's a 'bad boy' and crap, and it's really Jem that she's in love with. Well, if you think about it, Will isn't exactly the 'bad boy' they're thinking of. He was just a jerk because he was trying to protect everyone from himself, especially Tess. So HA! Team Will!! :)

Ya, they all think that he a fake 'bad boy' and that Jem is the best and Will is getting in the way. They just feel pity for Jem because of his addiction. They don't even have anything in common, whereas Will reads all of the books Tessa recommends and even if he hates the book he'll still read it. Just like A Tale of Two Cites.(he said most of this in his letter to Tessa; which was almost as sad as his curse)
I KNOW! I am SO in love with Will. He's like...perfect. And, I know that Jem is good and all, I just think that Will is better. I do believe that Jem should get his happy ending, just not with Tess, or he should die right before they get married, either one.~J

The only problem with Jem having common sense to see that Will loves Tess is that he's too in love with Tess to see anything else. Will is very good at hiding his emotions and the only way for him to show his true colors is if Tessa tells everyone about it.
Exactly, like when Will saved Tess, Jem thought that it was because Will knew how much Tess meant to him. ~J

I forgot what book it is in The Mortal Instrument but Magnus Bane hinted that he had seen Parabatai became devastated because they lost the other one. When I read that passage, I already know that Jem will die.

In the beginning of CoLS, I thought it must be Will, but in the end, I now think that it's Jem.

As for you, Jem, I think you might fit perfectly with Celia, so why not hook up with her. There, easy as that. Tessa, please, just don't break Will's heart- it's too much for a reader to take.

I sure want to slap Tessa. It's so sad how dumb Tessa was not to notice that Will was pretending to hate her for a reason. I hope Jem dies or something in the next book. Or, Tessa should just dump Jem when she realizes she likes Will more.
