I do! I would've have taken that hot poker and burned both her hands! And then I would have cursed her out and ordered her to fix this and realize who she truly loves! Good Lord I got so mad at that point!!

Tessa should be with Will, its so obvious! She agreed to marry Jem, but then she stabs herself with a poker when Will says he likes her ( She obviously likes Will more) And plus Jems annoying he gets on my nerves!! Can't he just die ( Or find somebody else to pursue??)

There is no where in the book, where Tessa shows an obvious preference for either boy. She never in her mind insinuates that she would rather "be" with one over the other. And its completely understandable. You have two men who love you, one of them is dying, the other you refuse to let yourself love, but then when he pours his soul out to you, you slightly allow yourself to indulge in those hidden feelings before snapping back to reality. If she didnt love Jem, she would have never been engaged to him, plain and simple. If she really hated Will, she wouldnt have allowed herself to kiss him once she knew she belonged to someone else - that someone being Jem.
It just bothers me when people say she loves Will or Jem more ... she loves them equally. If she loved one over the other, or saw one only as a friend, she wouldnt be in this predicament.

Group slap for Tessa! Seriously, it was like 'hey, let's get married', and she was like 'well, okay then'. Whil I was like, NOO WHAT THE CRAP. She should've waited a little more for poor Will. :(

Well I do agree she should have waited longer, but what could she have done it was Jem who proposed to her was Tessa supposed to go and say,"I'm sorry Jem but can you ask me again...like tomorrow? I'd really appreciate that its just I kinda have to wait just a little longer"?? :)

Tessa's feelings for both boys are deep and complicated. It's not as if she kissed them casually, which is what sluts do. She just happened to be in love with two irresistible boys.
And personally, if I were Tessa, I would've mauled Will and Jem behind each other's back. Thumbs down if you don't agree with me.

Yes, you are so right Annerooo.. I don't know why people are being so hard on Tessa when we know she loves Jem and know that her feelings for Will have made her all confused due to his poor treatment of her.. I'm suprised Tessa hasn't got whiplash from Will's attitude..one minute he's calling her a whore and ignoring her, the next he's giving her books to read.. so because of his mixed messages Tessa wasn't able to process her feelings for him. His declaration of love at the end of CP is not going make things magically clearer for her.. if anything it makes things harder because she now not only has to consider her own feelings which are a complete mess anyway but also Jem's and Will's feelings. I wish more people would empathize with her instead of vilifying her just because she didn't jump at the chance to be with Will.
P.s I am totally Team Will.. but more than anything I am Team Tessa.

i love the Will/Tessa-ship as well as the Jem/Tessa-ship, but I just realized something: Jem's proposal was kinda unfair for Tessa 'coz he specifically told her that it was because of her (or rather his love for her) that he was getting stronger and healthier. When a dying guy says that, you'd find it hard to say "no", wouldn't you? I mean, think about it, if it were you, you'd think saying "no" to him could actually affect his health, right? He could die of heartbreak!
On the other hand, does Tessa really love Jem, or is she just fond of him? Why does she have musings where she feelings like she lead him on?
I really want to slap Tessa because of the fact that she can't choose between the two boys. I'm thankful she finally chose SOMEONE! I was going to murder her any second, but really she still likes Will.HURRY UP AND DECIDE!

I have a feeling that Jem will die in the last book and then Will and Tessa will finally be together like it should be but the thing is I don't want Jem to die. I was actually rooting for him during that steamy bedroom scene (YUM!) even though I was all for Will before. But then Will broke my heart with everything that happened to him and Tessa said no to him when he suffered to much and I almost threw my Kindle (but I didn't because that would be a very stupid thing to do). And Tessa admitted it herself that she loves Will because she's always staring at him with big googoo eyes and talking about how she likes it when he touches her and stuff (wouldn't we all!). So yeah I think she's gonna end up with Will.
OH! I forgot to write this in my passion of the Will/Tessa/Jem thingymajig. A few comments earlier someone said that it would be interesting if Tessa and Magnus had the same father. I think that's possible because (*SPOILER TO THOSE THAT HAVEN'T READ THE MORTAL INSTRUMENT SERIES AND SHOULD ASAP!*) 3rd Mortal Instruments book Magnus is talking to Tessa so they obv kept in touch all those years so it wouldn't be so crazy if they were bro/sis. Omg it just occurred to me that Tessa is gonna live forever but Will and Jem won't....WTH NOOO!Ok feel free to discuss ;)
It is a nice thought that Magnus and Tessa are brother and sister but I have a feeling she is going to be something different wouldn't her and Magnus have some of the same powers he's defiantly warlock I'm guessing if they are related the difference that she has is from her mother then or she's something else entirely and they have just stayed close over the years because they are the only ones that live forever ....Humm the possibilities I'm ready for clockwork princess

Jem is my favorite character (other than Magnus) but he should NOT get with Tessa. He longs for someone to love him with their whole heart, which Tessa cannot do since she is obviously in love with Will. Tessa knew who Will was (kind of a jerk) but fell for him despite that. If you really love someone it takes a long time to get over it. The story takes place over a relatively short amount of time, too short to 1.fall deeply in love with one guy 2. fall out of love with that guy enough to fall in love with someone else, and 3. is definitely not enough time to know your own feelings long enough to make a decision about marrying someone.

I really really just feel bad for Tessa. She loved Will but he couldnt love her back because of his curse. Then she grows closer to Jem because he made her laugh and sstuff. Then he drops the bomb that he's in love with her and making him stronger. how could she have said no ? Then she finds out that Will was always in love with her that horrible ! Poor Tessa she deserves Will and Jem deserves happinesss
Awh, Finnick Odair. Seriously, I hated Suzanne Collins when he died. :(
