SOLVED. Girl who fakes her own kidnapping? [s]

I remember reading a book like this. The girl was i think going to run away with a boy? I don't remember, but she fakes her own kidnapping with him. Later when the guy doesn't come for her, she gets bored and uses her phone to surf the web. Later the police come and find her because of it. The girl i think gets in really big trouble and tries to blame it on this mexican guy she saw at the mall.

Oh and I think the girl was staying in a cabin somewhere.

I don't believe this book is Don't Stop Now. I've read that recently and only the fake kidnapping matches up, none of the details are correct. Is this an older book or a newer book? There have been a lot of fake kidnappings in the news similar to this too in the past year or so.
