Amanda (manda_82) Hi guys, I thought over the next few months I would do a Top 5 series. The first is asking for your top 5 YA Authors?

message 2: by Kayla (new)

Kayla (kaylawrites89) Garth Nix (Abhorsen Series), Philip Pullman (His Dark Materials), Holly Black (Modern Faerie Tales), Lisa Mantchev (Theatre Illuminata), and P.C. and Kristin Cast (House of Night)

Alexandria Nicole (alexandriatheo) | 9 comments Cassandra Clare (Mortal Instruments and Infernal Devices Series)
Suzanne Collins (Hunger Games)
Veronica Roth (Divergent - I know she only has one book out but it was amazing!)
Lauren Oliver (Before I Fall and Delirium Series)
J.K. Rowling (everyone knows this one! Harry Potter!!) Ok this one might be cheating because everyone knows she's the best of the best so I'll add another.
Stephenie Meyer (Twilight) even though her books cause a lot of controversy. I still loved them and they were what got me into the series. So I can't leave her out!

Rebecca (sonshinemusic) | 2 comments Fun question!

Suzanne Collins (Hunger Games)
Tahereh Mafi (Shatter Me)
Jonathan Maberry (Rot & Ruin)
Kiersten White (Paranormalcy)
Stephanie Perkins (Anna and the French Kiss)

Gahh! There's too many! But these are my top recent picks :)

message 5: by Gina (new)

Gina Hunger Games Trilogy (Suzanne Collins)
The Tomorrow Series (John Marsden)
Gone (Michael Grant)

These are the ones that immediately come to mind - I'm sure there are more.

Suzanne Collins--Hunger Games
Gail Levine--Fairest
Stephanie Myer--Twilight
Janette Rallison--My Fair Godmother
