message 5: by Tamara (new)

Tamara | 5 comments Hi- I'm Tamara. Past summer began reading MHC for first time and pretty much read the books as fast as I could get my hands on them. I only have a couple of books of hers that I haven't read. I always read before bed and I always realize that's a mistake- but can't stop.

Fav MHC book: Maybe All Around Town or Moonlight Becomes You.

Doms Candels (fatimoir) | 5 comments I can't stop reading her books too!! It sucks when I have to go to school and only can read every after class!! Haha
What is All Around Town about?

message 7: by Tamara (new)

Tamara | 5 comments All Around Town is about a girl that is kidnapped and returned to her family. She's been raped and terrorized by these hippies for 2 years- and multiple years later it's discovered that Laurie (the kidnapped girl) has multiple personalities (developed after being kidnapped). Laurie is accused of killing a professor, but does not remember it. Her big sis is determined to prove her innocence. Good book!

message 19: by Caprice (new)

Caprice (murm65) | 1 comments Hello! I'm Caprice and I've been reading MHC since before my kids were born (over 21 years ago). I've read all of her novels and most of her short stories. Once I became a mother, it became a tradition that I would get the latest MHC hardback for Mother's Day - and most years I would lock myself away until I finished it! I LOVE MHC and recommend her to everyone I can. I have trouble thinking of a favorite book of hers. Loves Music Loves To Dance is one of my top.Mary Higgins Clark

I've read bits and pieces of some of her other books but none completely through, and I'd really like to read more of her works.

message 38: by Angie F (new)

Angie F (angiefitzp) | 1 comments Hi, I'm a big fan of Mary Higgins Clark and have read all her books to date including those written with her daughter Carol and those with Alafair Burke. I first discovered her more than 30 years ago when I found a copy of "Stillwatch" on the bookcase of a lady for whom I was babysitting. Wanting a break from French homework I started to read it and I have never looked back since. I own all her books, most of them in hardback and get so excited every time there is a new one released. My all time favourites are
"A Cry In The Night"
"Stillwatch"
"Loves Music, Loves To Dance"
"All Around The Town" and
"Two Little Girls In Blue"

message 39: by Kellie (new)

Kellie | 8 comments Hi Angie! I love all her books too I haven’t read Two Little Girls in Blue yet. Or A Cry in the Night. My cousin got me interested in her. She lent me a copy of Where Are the Children? And I got hooked.
