Angela Wynne | 14 comments I loved "The Road". It reminded me a little bit of "Blindness"by Jose Saramago, but it was not nearly as depressing. Where "Blindness" did not seem to me to have a "point", "The Road" was fraught with hidden meaning. A true story of good vs. evil.

I highly recommend it.

Denise | 32 comments I would like to read this one. I've read some discussions on it and I get the feeling I want to be in a good state of mind when I try it, since it won't require any added ambience of ill feeling.

Diana | 7 comments I absolutely loved this book. I finished it in about two days--it would have been faster but at one point I had to take a small break to digest all the intensity. Now this one, I understood why it won!

Denise | 32 comments I just finished this. I read it in two days also and perhaps that was too fast.
