Hi Magda! Happy to join your group! As you know I've published the first 2 books in my Fear of the Past Trilogy and the third should be out early December!

The whole trilogy, a mix of fantasy, paranormal and historical, is focused on the question: is heredity destiny? Can you escape your family's inheritance or are you condemned to repeat past mistakes? The protagonist, a computer whiz kid, in search of his family roots in Sicily, falls into a long series of trials and tribulations before he finds the answer to that question...in the last chapter of the last book!

Magda, I'd love to read your new book before it's published, if that's at all possible!

Hi, my name's Mandi and I'm a mom/photographer by day and an author/illustrator the rest of the time. I have always had a huge imagination and have always loved to write and draw. Thus far I have 2 books published and 3 more that I am working on now. I write for children mainly because I am still a kid at heart. As a child I was able to convince my classmates that I traveled to earth by way of an enormous bubblegum slide from an undiscovered candy coated planet. I actually somewhat had myself convinced too back then. ;) I am in my 30's now but my imagination is FAR from tame! In order to keep it under lock and key, I write... Who knows what would happen if I couldn't get it all out on paper!!

I have read "Forget the Past:Book One of Fear of the Past Trilogy" & would recommend the book to anyone who likes & is interested in YA.

I hear that there is a bit of a problem with cats when it comes to cleaning. As a kid I had 9 cats living with us on daily basis & countless visiting cats. None of them was into cleaning.

Thanks for the invitation. I love books of all kinds, and as a teacher, even though my kids have outgrown kids books, my students never do, so I never have to. I get to read picture books and anything else I choose and consider myself blessed.

I am a 48 year old, Mom, writer of YA fantasy, and special ed. teacher. I have lived in yellowstone Park, Beijing China and the Oregon/California Border both inland and coastal.

My books are similar to the dual world type stories like Oz and Narnia and Neverland. They are,

China was an exchange student program, my husband and I both went to a teacher's college there and met some great people who took us into their homes and on train trips and to see the baby panda and to the historical places. Not sure I wold be brave enough to have done it alone but there were 19 in our group.

I also went to Guatemala with my Momand my brother and my two boys and toured Poland, Holland, Denmark and Germany with a choir.

We live in a beautiful world.

I only put my author page up here yesterday so I still have a way to go yet. I'm trying to balance writing with marketing and work and a course and everything else at the moment but I'm not giving up until I'm living off my writing.

The book you liked is one I wrote for my son as a bit of fun really and I'm now concentarting on more 'adult' stuff. I'm trying to get a colection of short stories out by the start of December. These are a collection of dark relationship tales.

Thanks to you and Andrew 'liking' my book, as soon as I can stop rambling away in the message I'll go and do the same for you both.

I know, every minute social networking is a moment you are not writing, it is a tough balancing act, most of us have to promote our book or no-one will ever hear of it, but we also have the day job to work and families and a life, so when to write, sell and do it all? But it can be fun and the more you meet and talk up your book and the books of your friends, the easier it seems to be.

I'm on board. You might just need to bear with me a bit whilst I get my head round it all. I know so much more than a month ago and imagine the learning curve has a while before it levels off. I appreciate all the advice I get and I will happily share with others as I learn.
