Hi everyone! My name is Sheila Hendrix and I just joined the group. I'd like to thank you all for having me. I love to read YA books, even though I am no longer a YA. *sighs* I also have written one that I'd love to get you to read and review for me. It's called The Betrayal and its a paranormal. Hi, Sheila! I'm a writer, but I do reviews too for my blog http://rutecanhoto.blogspot.com and there I have a page for new authors. Usually, the writers send me a PDF file of their book, I read it, review it and then I interview the author. Next, I post everything both in english and in portuguese, so that it can be available for a wider range of people. Let me know if you're interested in joining my list =)Oh, but it may take me a while to read, once I have a big list of requests, that you can check at the blog page "A Analisar | To Review" ;-)
Hey Rute! That sounds great! I'd love for you to. I can send you the manuscript if you'll let me know where to send it. I was doing reviews for two magazines, myself, but I've been so busy writing I haven't had time. Now, I'd like to start doing reviews for my blog. I've done some but I'd like to do more.

Rute I'm following your blog now and I love the way you've done it even though I have no idea what you're saying in it. LOL!
lol! But everything is both in portuguese AND english. If it is a small post, first is in portuguese and right below is in english. If it is an interview (once that's a long post) it is presented in portuguese, but at the beggining of the text you'll find something saying "English version available here" ;-) I'm following your blog now too. the manuscript can be sent to rutecanhoto@iol.pt Thank you!

I love paranormal romance myself but my book isn't a romance. Even though I love reading them, I don't think I could write one if I had a gun held at my head. LOL! Hope you still want to read it!

Hey Ria. I absolutely love paranormal romance and would be honored to read yours. I have a blog I put them on then I intereview the authors. I've even been thinking about doing character interveiws. Larry, thanks for the post but it's not a fraudelent review. I'm asking for people to give their honest opinion of my book. I will do the same for everyone who wants me to review those.I don't expect a person to give me a rave review simply because I ask them to reveiw my book. There is not a thing in the world wrong with authors asking others to read their books and tell people what they think. If this is destroying the ebub industry then there is something wrong with the industry.
Word of mouth is the one of the best ways to get your stuff out there and recognized.
Larry posted an identical comment on another thread so I assumed it was spam. If that isn't the case, FYI Larry, there are no fraudulent reviews going on here. This is a writing community, supporting each other via constructive comments. Feedback is like gold-dust to any writer. If you really want to plug your authors' forum, I suggest you start a new thread.
I truly don't believe its spam or a fraudulent thing to swap reviews. Writers happen to be readers with an opinion.
