It's really good but I wouldn't say it's the best in the series. I like the Titan's Curse better.
i like all these books equally!!! they are all so amazing :)
i like the Titans curse the best! who thinks there will be a percabeth romance??

Oh yeah. I feel that were gonna have Percy be Percus and Anabeth be Andromeda >_<

No. A sea serpent was terrorizing the town because Poseidon got mad. Then, to save his kingdom, the king chained Andromeda to a rock as a sacrifice. Percus saved her.
Love all the books and am excited for number four this spring. I hadn't thought about the Perseus/Andromeda connection with Percy and Annabeth yet BUT I do think it's promising. And if they stay true to the actual mythology there that would be comforting. I think it's the only hero relationship that ever worked out!

I loved this one! I felt like it was a fitting sequel to an already amazing series-to-be =).
Andromeda was a princess whom was chained to some rocks out at sea [i think her parents were mad at her or something, im not sure]. She was about to be attacked by a giant sea creature, but Perseus [the first] saved her. They got married and had good lives, and when they died Zeus placed their images among the stars =).
i read all 5 percy jacksons, they are AMAZING! it keeps getting better with every book :))

I know it's not a fan favorite, but I loved this book. It's one of my favorites from the Percy Jackson series.

I didn't like this book. Or no, this was my least favorite book in the series. My favorite is the "Titans Curse" LUVD THAT BOOK! But this one was... ok.

Yes, 'Sea of Monsters' was a very fun book to read! I'm reading 'The Titan's Curse' right now, and love it, but I THINNNNK I like 'The Lightning Thief' the best so far, actually. But it's a really close call, they've all been great so far!

i finished all the books and it was really great. no dull moments, there's romance and percy is so funny :D I rate this series 5/5. i truly love it ♥

@Aeyla; That's exactly what I think, HOWEVER, I have not yet read the 5th book, "The Last Olympian." My brother read it and said it's the best in the series... I'm excited to read it!

i loved this book. But how are they going to make the rest of the series into a movie if the ages are all messed up??? Are they even making more movies??
I doubt they'll be making more movies, since the first one stunk... then again, I suppose that depends on how much money they got in the theaters, and I don't know how much that was. Also, I haven't heard anything at all about a second movie. I'm totally guessing here.
They have a contract for two more movies. I believe their casting...maybe filming?

Are they even making more movies??"by completely changing Luke's reasons for trying to kill percy, they pretty much threw away the rest of the story. if they are going to make more movies, they better start now because if they don't, percy is going to be a 50 year old guy fighting greek gods, and that just doesn't work
@Kimberly; The Sea of Monsters is my least favorite so far as well, even though I feel kinda bad saying that, because it's such a great book!!! I have yet to read The Last Olympian, but my favorite is The Battle of the Labyrinth so far!
