David Elkin | 63 comments I enjoyed this mix of Lovecraft and Holmes by one of the better writers of the current generation.

Oh YES! Have you listened to the audio book of this story? Gaiman's voice is AMAZING. Every syllable is delicious. Not since Vincent Price (in a whole different way) have I loved a voice so much. (And maybe Alan Rickman's voice is on that short list, too.)

Joanna (foxwrapped) | 353 comments Study in Emerald is my favorite pastiche. Ever. Is it difficult to find the audio book? That sounds amazing.

Ken B I just finished A Study in Emerald by Neil Gaiman. Here's my review:

A Victorian horror starring Sherlock Holmes in a Lovecraft-ian setting with a brutal twist of an ending written by Neil Gaiman. What more can you say?
