Is there a way to delete the birthday on my author profile?

I tried to remove my birthday by clicking the dates to blank. It didn't work but since then, it can't seem to keep any date I put in there. I accidentally made it Nov. 2, 2002 without realizing. Then, without me doing anything, it is now Jan 1, 2011. I had my birthday as a part of the profile when I had a reader profile. Now that I have an author profile, I would prefer for it not to be there at all. Is there anyway to remove the birthday from my profile?

It keeps restoring when I try to edit it, which implies it's getting the info from your personal profile.

Try going to the "edit profile" (drop-down arrow next to avatar on top right of screen) and look at the profile tab. Make sure "Age & Birthday Privacy" are set to "Age & Birthday to no one".
