Okay, so since some of you might not know what a minute mystery is, let me explain:

In a minute mystery, the riddler asks a question, giving a short description of a scenario. The important details may or may not be included. The others' job is to figure out what happened (usually these entail death). Problem is, the riddler can only answer a question with 'yes' or 'no' or 'irrelevant question.' After a while, most people start to figure out what types of questions need to be asked. For example:

"A rope breaks, a bell tolls, a man dies."

Bad questions: "Where was the man?" (not yes-or-no)
....................... "was the bell painted red?" (irrelevant)

Good questions: "Was the bell far away from the man?"
......................... "Was the man near a . . . (cliff, desert, sea, town, etc.)
......................... "Was anyone else involved?"

The last question is always one of the key questions in a Minute Mystery. One mystery at a time, and winner (or whoever the winner gifts the privilege to) does the next mystery. So go ahead, ask away, and see if you can figure it out!

A rope breaks. A bell tolls. A man dies.

Gwynivere wrote: "Was the man and the bell relevant to each other? As in - was the man sentenced to die at the tone of the bell?"

No. That is, he wasn't sentenced to die at the tone of the bell.

Crowleaf Or..

The man knew he was near a cliff, so he grabbed the rope and it broke. He fell over the cliff, and the bell rang on the way down.

Or...
He was frustrated so he hit the rope and it swung back and hit him, knocking him out cold. He tumbles down a hill and off a cliff. On the way down the hill, the rope breaks.
