Julianna (authorjuliannad) | 21 comments I loved this book. It was a very inspiring story that would be great for teaching younger kids about slavery and the Underground Railroad. I hope to read Henry Brown's autobiography at some point. The illustrations were quite beautiful too. I was surprised by how emotive they were. The illustrator is a very talented artist.

I'm glad that you enjoyed this book too Julie!! I just loved the scene where Henry escaped slavery by mailing himself and it was a truly inspiring and sad tale that really touched me. I would definitely recommend this book to everyone!
