What's your experience with dyslexic advantages?

I'm a tutor of students and adults with dyslexia and my fellow tutors and I are always amazed at their creativity. Of course, that creativity usually comes out when we're trying to get them to focus on the lesson at hand, but it's still fun!

I just started this book and find it fascinating. I've been able to give parents hope by describing what this book is all about, that the same brain wiring that makes it hard for them to read and spell may actually give them advantages in other fields. It's nice for them to know that all is not lost for their dyslexic child.
