Part of the description from Clark's video reads,

Pure Michigan invites you to experience the splendor of our state's fall season. This commercial, featuring the voice of Tim Allen, highlight's the states crisp weather, vibrant colors, and the pleasure of taking a breath of Pure Michigan's autumn air.

Sally, will you writhe for us?

message 21: by Phil (new)

Stina (stinalee) | 750 comments While googling to make sure I spelled it right, I learned that Cinque Terre, one of my very best places ever, has been ruined by heavy rains and flooding.

I also really like Maui, DC, the Columbia River Gorge (especially driving the scenic highway), Swan Lake in Montana, and the lake house on Devil's Lake in Lincoln City, OR.

message 31: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Oh jeez how could I forget Maui and the Big Island?

~Geektastic~ (atroskity) | 3207 comments I hate DC. I haven't been to enough places to have a favorite; I'm a homebody. I do miss living out in Rappahannock, VA, though. Beautiful, quiet place with lots of great hippy-dippy inhabitants..

I love Taos! It's only 80 miles from me. I have a friend with a condo there-anyone up for a weekend trip?

message 36: by Mary (new)

Mary (merrussell) I have been to so many amazing places. Zion and Bryce Canyon are amazing, Taos and the high road from Taos to Espanola is beautiful.
Ojo Caliente Hot Springs
Ditto Sarah Pi for the San Juan islands
Olympic National Park
Juneau, AK,
Kona and Hilo, HI
and in lovely Colorado-the Sangre de Cristo mountains
So many places, so little time...

message 44: by Susan (new)

Susan | 6406 comments On a beach of an ocean. Sitting on a large rock near a lake with trees surrounding. In the mountains during autumn. In the winter standing in the fresh falling snow at nighttime with no cruel winds blowing. In a park on a sunny day with a soft breeze. Under a soft rain that feels cleansing. Listening to the leaves rustle on the trees just after dusk. Snuggling little in my arms, anywhere.

message 45: by Susan (new)

Susan | 6406 comments To me, it is like listening to the whispers of trees.
