On the off-chance that there is music in the novel, mention it here and, if possible, link to the song on Youtube.

Or if you're listening to any music while you read it or it evokes music for you, tell us about it.

I haven't come across this site before, but each of the above links has over 50 minutes of music on it.

John | 1 comments "On the off chance that there is music in the novel...". Hahaha, I suspect this will be a long list by the time we,all plow through the +900 pages. Great idea.

Marissa Taler | 1 comments There is a 1Q84 station on Spotify as well as a general Haruki Murakami station. I enjoy both.

Yep, started last night, but was very tired.

make sure you endure the intros to the Cosmic Rough Riders. The music follows.

Aloha Oh, neat! A music section. See how good I am about exploring a site? I've been deep into 1Q84 and this is the first time I saw this, and only because I received a notification. LOL Thanks, guys!

Aloha I'm going to put it all into a YouTube playlist and play it while I am writing a review for a book that I thought was icky. This will be the first time I'll be writing a review for a book I don't like, because I prefer to not put any energy into it. But me and my big mouth (er typing fingers), and I got some people into an uproar. Type one word, run to do something I enjoy, type another word, run to do something else I enjoy....

Aloha I prefer Ella's version of It's Only Paper Moon:

Aloha I love the Random House site with the Murakami mix. Thanks, Ian!

Aloha I love Puccini, and Beethoven, and.....

Justin | 1 comments I found that Ryuichi Sakamoto's Out Of Noise synced up well w/ it.

Good suggestion. He once got me into a band called "Sandii and the Sunsetz", which I have never got out of.
