I recently finished Soldier Hill. It's a Young Adult "coming-of-age" novella about a pair of teenage boys who try to save a small war memorial for a fallen Vietnam veteran. Definitely not the sort of thing I would usually read, but the author's narrative style and language (reminiscent of James Ellroy) was what hooked me. My review is here.

I'm reading The Mayfair Moon at the moment. Am enjoying it so far! I have been a little off recently when it comes to reading and have been picking up books and putting them down after only a few chapters. I thought I was having a reading crisis! Could just be that I have overdosed on reading the last couple of months. The book I am waiting to read is Anna Dressed in blood. It isn't out in the Uk until July!!!!

Really! I would love to see some book trailers from the two! I've seen them on a couple of books and some commercials so they are making a lot of money together lol . JLA is a talented writer and I'm glad I could fit in atleast one of her books in this year.
