Lori Huh. How strange that was a volunteer plant to begin with in NYC, and then it grows between the concrete! As for it's godly manifestation, um, well, if you build it, they will come?

Petra X (petra-x) I'd be more convinced if it was blue.

Ganesha is the Lord of Letters, among other things. How appropriate that he made his way here.

He is sometimes associated with a rat or mouse, how I have understood the symbolism is that the root of the word mouse is associated with the stealing of grain. Rats and mice symbolize selfishness and baser instincts. Ganesha is pictured as having mastered these baser instincts.

Another interpretation is that a rat or mouse can find it's way around obstacles easily, so Ganesha would be assisted in his mastery over obstacles this way.
