Blue-eyed Will! Jace is annoying and indecisive. I hate all if his plot-twists too. Possession? Really, a cliffhanger like that? Personally, I think that ruined the series.

I personally like Will more than Jace and Jem.... Though Jace and Will are farily alike.. im only halfway thorugh Clockwork Prince right now though, i am beginning to like Jem more :)

Ugh...Jem. Jem's okay, no offense, but to me he's just an obstacle between Will and Tessa getting together. I think Tessa only gets with him in "the Clockwork Prince" out of pity that he's going to die (I mean it's obvious that she likes Will more but is not allowing her self to hurt Jem to be with him) and the fact that Will's pushed her away this whole time.
I HATE JEM SO MUCH!!! i just read the chapter where Tessa told Will shes going to marry Jem and Will spilled his heart out to her!! I want to cry :(

Both are my favourite YA male leads.But i just love Will. It's not because he's a bad guy, because i don't think he is. He just acts like it to protect people i think, but really he is good guy.
Plus he's so handsome it's crazy. I love him :)

I don't think Jem is a jerk. But I do think that he's only thinking of himself in asking Tessa to marry him. I mean, you'd have to be blind not to see she has feelings for Will.I think what Tessa feels for Jem is more like siblings-love than real love.
Ok I understand what you're saying. Sure Jem was nice for a whole book and a half. I used to be in love with him but Jem is a jerk and you'll just have to see that or you just need some help because everyone hates Jem's guts. well a lot of people anyway. There are still too many Jem lovers for my liking
Actually, what you're talking about is mostly a minority, this is the first time I hear of someone hating Jem.Plus, I don't think I need help. When you're in love you tend not to see anybody else surrounding you, so I don't blame it all on Jem. He should have been more considering regarding Will's feelings, but to even hate him, it seems like a really big word to me.
I would pick Will. I don't know he just has that certain something and Jace just doesn't attract me.

I would pick Will over Jace. Both characters are absolutely infuriating, but Jace gets very repetitive and whiny when he goes on and on about how he doesn't deserve Clare and does stupid things. Will is just un-emotional and hides behind a devil-may-care smile.

I agree about him being a jerk especially when he hit Will and i'm still going crazy trying to figure out how he couldn't see that Will loved Tessa or that Tessa loves Will too.

Jace will always be my number-one bad, skilled and sarcastic guy, but I have to agree with readers above-- Jace lost his touch in CoFA. I didn't like CoFA and I don't think I even want the series to be continued in such a way, but it's not my choice. I would say that Jace is still my faaaaaaavorite male character out of all my favorite books, not just Mortal Instruments/Infernal Devices. I was not as attracted to Will from the beginning, but he is particularly charming, yes.

I don't know about you but I LOVE Will, therefore I know that if Jem died Will would be destroyed and part of him would die too. It would probably destroy his relationship with Tessa too. I don't want that to happen to Will. Aren't you a Will fan?
So yeah, I don't think anything about Jem's death would be hilarious.

Oh yes! i would be heartbroken obviously but I would still laugh a bit. Jem proposing cost me three days of happiness. I was so upset after reading clockwork prince

That's what I think. I think that she was just desperate to get over Will (This was before she knew how Will really felt about her and why he did the things he did).

Yeah, but becuz of Jem, Will can't be with her anyway. He'd rather suffer in silence than ruin anything good happening for Jem. After all the the years of torment that he went through to protect the ones he loved from dying, he still can't have happiness of his own. Not even with the person he loves most, becuz the other person he loves, who's like a brother to him, is with her. He'd rather see Jem happy with her, than have himself happy. That's just how unselfish he is and how much Will cares about both of them. It's unfair! >:(
