impossible question. i refuse to answer. theyr both too perfect.
disagreement.jace is to self centered.
he doesnt really have a reason why he was avoiding clary.
the forbidden love was great, but it got annoying after a while.
i love them both but looking at it practically..as you do :P haha jace, as will would be very old by now ;)

I agree with that! I mean, I still love Jace and all but Will actually had a reason to act like a jerk and to be afraid for Tessa's well-being where as Jace just doesn't give Clary any breathing room and can't seem to get over the fact that they can now be together without problem. He seemed very paranoid in CoFA and a little too over protective. I think Jace is going to have to conquer his inner demons (litteraly) before he'll be able to get back to his regular sarcastic-arrogant-obnoxious-much-too-confident personnality; the one we've all grown to know and love :P.

Will seems to truly believe in the fact he is saving people by being cruel, and is unable to talk about it to anyone, thus he is suffering for others. Jace have people to talk to, Clary knows what is going on, but he is stand offish because he is just lost and doesn't know what he is doing. You see it all the time with Jace, he can't even stay away when he wants to. Will does he may give into feelings at weak moments but corrects them fast. Even at the end of Clockwork Prince, he fixes thing for almost every character even for Tessa and Jem, because he loves them.
Will is cruel to be kind, and Jace is kind to be cruel, and worse of all Jace doesn't even know it.

You know, lots of people say that will and jace are so similar they are almost the same person. I can see where they're coming from but I think they are both quite different, especially after reading cp. There are lots of small things that I found set them apart. Sorry... Really random. I just felt I needed to say something. : P Carry on...

Jace acts his way for many reasons. He was brought up to be the perfect shadowhunter by Valentine, with less love. Valentine was the only dad he knew. And he was left behind and thought his dad was dead. Jace then was brought to Lightwood's household, with bitterness left in him. He was sarcastic enough in order to protect himself from the world.
I love Jace no matter what, even after he was poisoned by the evil Lilith. What he did was beyond his power. Jace will be okay by the end of the series.
I always love Will, even before I read CP. I think it is ridiculous if CC intended Will to be the mean character while he is also Tessa's love interest.
The series is not some complicated story for that to happen. I am glad that what I thought of Will is correct.

They are both Jerks. I think that Will has a better reason for being a jerk than Jace do. Jace is to complicated... to troubled by not knowing who he truly is (evil or good). I would say will is my favorite from the both. He just seems like a better guy because he was tormented by something that could destroy him and people he loved. HE was being a jerk to protect them right. But Jace is just confused and tormented by the things he experienced with valentine. I love them both but Will slightly more! :D
Jace is full of complexes. He's not worth this, he doesn't deserve that, and yada yada yada. And now we have another drama with him in CoFA. Jeez. Why can't he just live in peace.Will, as Stephiii says, is Jace on crack. LOL. I love this definition, so I'm gonna use it 'till the end of my days.
Anyway, Will was totally convinced he had a curse on his head, so he was only protecting the ones he loves.
Personally I prefer Will, and by a loooooooooooooooong shot.
And it's a point in his favor that I love black hair/blue eyes combinations. ;D

Well, I can't really decide right away since both series aren't complete. But... for now... I have to say Will. :P
That's the dilemma haha. When I read TMI, everyone was comparing Jace to some Will, and I didn't have idea of who he was. Then I found out about ID and I read it, not without promising myself I wouldn't replace Jace with that Will. Ever. Even if he was the biggest sweetheart, or the sexiest, or more of a bad boy or whatever more than Jace.

Choosing between Jace & Will is ridiculous. Why choose? They are both fantastic.

He doesn't show Clary that he has feeling for her, and than break her heart the next day. (Don't correct me. I'm only on the 2nd book of MI and the 1st of ID.)

I love Will! I dislike Jem and i am not sure why that is. Although Jem is caring and understands, i dislike that he is a "weak" character. D; Will loves tessa and he feels bad because he loves Jem and Tessa and he is aware that Jem likes Tessa D:

He still goes out there with his fellow shadowhunter's to fight by their side, and he tries to protect Tessa to the best of his ability, and he lived through his parents death, and his own torture. To me that makes him one of the strongest character's I have read about. Not that in the Infernal Devices im team Jem, im totally for Will :), but I still love Jem's character. Just my opinion lol

Will, hands down!! I dont know- but as soon as i read the TMI I didnt like Jace that much- but as soon as Will came in in The INfernal Devices i was like- ahh i like you :D Plus he loves books- and im a book girl. I live and breathe words, as does Will. I find it hot when a guy loves to read.
