Christopher Staley I'd be quite interested in hearing what others thought of Humphrey's argument, especially the parallelism of sensation and perception.


Stephen Palmer I think the evidence he presents for the parallel view as opposed to the serial view is highly convincing. I've just finished re-reading the relevant chapters and they all 'pan out' to me. He is one of the most brilliant authors in this field that I know of. Only Dennett and Hofstadter are at his level I think. His 'The Inner Eye' will I suspect be seen as a game-changing work from the perspective of history.
