josh sat down with his mocha, sipping it as he watched a local t.v. monitor with a football game going on.
Elizabeth walked into the cafe, too many books in her hand. She reached the counter, trying to grab her purse but ended up dropping all of the books to the floor. "Damnit!" she cursed as she bent down to gather her things.
he turned in his seat, looking at Eliizabeth."need help?" he asked. he didn't even wait for a reply as he stood and crouched down, picking up her books one by on and stacking them on his hand.
"Thank you..." she mumbled as she grabbed the last book and stood up straight. She held out her arms so that he could hand them to her, "Thanks so much." she smiled.
he nodded with a smile."it's okay." he sighed, not giving them back.
"so what class you have now?" he had assumed she was having a class at the moment since she had books.
She shook her head, "Well I actually just came from the library. I don't even have any classes today." she giggled. "I thought I could handle getting a cup of coffee with these books, but...obviously not."
He chuckled softly."so i'm assuming then your going back to your dorm right?"
She groaned, holding up the books that she did have in her hand were heavy. "Unfortunately...the girl dorms are so ridiculous." she looked around for a moment, "Do you happen to know any off campus apartments available?"
he took those books too as he thought."uhhh no i don't sorry," he sighed.
she bit her lip in thought, thanking him with her eyes for taking the books. "Well I guess I better just get over to the lounge, I think my friend Chloe is there."
he nodded."i'll walk you there." he sighed.
"i'm josh by the way."
She smiled, "I'm sorry how rude of me...I'm Elizabeth, well you can call me Liz...or Lizzy...or well you don't have to call me anything." she stammered. She had a tendency to blab on and on about nothing.
She smiled at him for a moment more before walking out of the cafe to the girls dorms. ((girls dorms XD))
chloe arrived, sitting down as she tapped her chin warily.
Almeda walked in and sat down at an empty table. She pulled out a notebook out of her bag and opened it, then took a pencil and started scribbling on the blank page.
chloe looked at her watch, expecting Elizabeth to be here soon.
Almeda paused in her scribbling to glance at the two girls who were sitting at a nearby table. Her eyes drifted over to the menu above the counter. Figuring it couldn't hurt, she got up and ordered an Italian Soda, then sat back down and resumed her note work.
Liz walked in to the cafe for the second time that day. She noticed Almeda scribbling on a pad and spotted Chloe, she smiled as she went over to her table and sat across from her. "I just met the cutest boy." she said.

Elizabeth gave chloe thos sad puppy dog eyes, "Oh that's terrible." she said as she looked down. Suddenly her smile appeared again, "I was here earlier to get a coffee so I could meet you in the lounge, and all my books fell and here came the cute guy...his name is Josh, and he walked me back to the dorms and everything... and he was just so...ahh!" she beamed like a little girl at christmas as she spoke very fast.

Almeda caught snatches of conversation from the two girls at the other table, something about boys. Bleh. She glanced at her watch. She still had thirty minutes. Sighing, Almeda closed her notebook and looked around at the others.

she looked at her nails."i've seen him around campus and in yearbooks..... his name's Alex and he's so cute and flirty." she sighed.
Liz thought for a moment, "Alex...Alex...is he the one who's aspiration in the year book was to be "player of the year"? she giggled.
she shrugged."can't remember." she sighed.
"anyways he's too good for me."
Liz shook her head, "Don't say that...give him a try." she smiled.
Izzy walked into the cafe and got a cappuccino. She sat down at a table and started to daydream.
Liz sighed and shook her head. "I'm still looking for an apartment, did you find anything?"
She sighed and looked around, spotting Izzy at a nearby table. She recognized her from a class that they shared to gether previously. "Hey Izzy! Over here!" she waved excitedly.
Izzy smiled and come over. "Hey Liz." she said. "Hi I'm Izzy." she said to the other girl.
Izzy smiled. "Can I sit?" she said, referring to the extra seat at the table.
"Hey! I was wondering if you had heard anything about any vacant apartments coming up." she asked.
Izzy shook her head. "I'm still looking for one too." she sighed.(( oh snap! Chloe likes Alex! Meanwhile he's in the student lounge flirting w/ another girl!))
((hehe, I know...this will be interesting! XD))Liz smiled brightly all of a sudden. "We should all move in together!"
Izzy nodded. "Sounds cool." she grinned.
(( i kno lolzz ))"that'd be nice!" she smiled.
((just because he's a flirt doesn't mean she can't change him though. hehe XD))Liz smiled, glad about their new plans. She looked at her phone and sighed, "I'm sorry ladies, I have to head over to Psych. We'll chat later." she stood up and walked out of the cafe.
(( ooh do tell!!!! LOLZZ ))she saluted her bye before heading back to the lounge.
Izzy stayed to finish her drink.
